There are a variety of beautiful campsites suitable for self-contained guests who have their own toilet/shower facilities and drinking water. Fires are permitted out of fire restriction times and feel free to bring your furry friends, making sure they're leashed at all times.
The farm is completely surrounded by the Wellsford state forest which offers bush walking and many tracks for bike riding. Mt Sugarloaf which is situated south of the property provides a great hike. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets create beautiful reflections on the water in the numerous dams on the property. Rainfall can restrict access to sites on the property.
The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away.
The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast.

Walking distance to the loddon River, where you can swim, paddle and fish. Golden perch is commonly released into the Loddon River, Laanecoorie Weir and Little Lake Boort, while Murray cod fingerlings go into the Loddon and Laanecoorie Weir. Redfin, yellow belly and silver perch are also a common catches. All of the valley’s rivers and lakes offer scenic, peaceful fishing off the bank.
The Cairn Curran Reservoir is just down the road, offering lot of water activities and site seeing.
