We'll transport your gear to your campsite so you can get set up quickly and start exploring the property or just kick back and relax. The three campsites are positioned so that you won't hear a sound from any other campers on the property. You will feel like you've got the whole place to yourself. And even though the campsites are isolated you'll still enjoy the convenience of clean regular flushing toilet facilities. But unlike any toilet you'll have used before, you'll get to enjoy a our unique loo with a view which is situated right amongst the rainforest looking out over the magestic tree ferns! Whether you intend to simply relax and listen to all the birdlife, grab a few drinks and head up to the viewing deck to watch the sunset, or put on your hiking boots and explore the rainforest, whatever you do, you will truly get back to nature. 16 Acre waterfront property with it's own beach! There is a 2 bedroom house and an area that fits 3 RVs. RVs must be self contained and leave no trace. Wedged between Lake King and Lake Victoria is a haven for wildlife and fabulous destination for nature-swooning. The island commands a relaxed pace. Laze on the shore, bury yourself in a good read or take a dip. There are plenty of good spots to cast a line, with bream, flathead and prawns being the catch of the day. The five minute ferry to Raymond Island departs Paynesville regularly and is free for pedestrians or those arriving by bike.

Woodside Gardens offers private campsites for guests to choose from, located among natural bush of tea tree and gum trees. Guests must be mostly self contained and must take all waste/rubbish with them on departure. We have a new toilet available for our campers but not showers Fire are allowed as long as the fire ban guidelines are followed. We have fire pits available for you to use free of charge. There is also plenty of wood around the place that you are welcome to pick up. A small saw is recommended to cut up some of the bigger pieces. Just a 5 minute drive to the magnificent 90 mile beach and plenty of bush tracks to go walking or bike riding. The township of Woodside is just up the road has a service station/Post office/shop. 15 minutes to township of Yarram and 35mins to Sale city. Entrance to our property is off Stringy Bark Lane. The first driveway as you turn off the main Road (High Street).

Excellent camping spot! Despite being close to the road it’s very quiet and peaceful. We thought it had some of the best amenities at a campground (kitchen, laundry, clean bathrooms/showers and a game room) we’ve ever seen and staff is very helpful/friendly.

Wayne’s land is in a beautiful location . The trickling brook behind is a lovely feature and bedtime background noise . Wayne was very kind in giving us a bag of firewood for the fire pit on site. A WiFi password was given as no reception for me . Telstra limited bars.

We loved our stay at Leanne’s. The views over the wetlands were unreal, our spot was tucked away so it felt really private and Leanne was really welcoming and brought us everything we would need to get the fire pit going. It was great seeing her beautiful cows grazing and kangaroos on the horizon. There is a block with a toilet and shower in which is a bit of a walk away from the camping spot. It didn’t matter to us that it was a bit of a walk but something to bear in mind if anyone has accessibility concerns. It was one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely recommend!

Loved our semi private camp site overlooking the water. We were able to go for lovely beach walks, and ride our bikes on the beach at low tide. Our dog loved his time there too. The staff at the park were all very welcoming we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we will be back for sure.

Weekend Trip to BBQ's of the World

It was nice and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the creek. Handy having the drop toilet also. We ended up in a different spot to the one we booked ( booked site 7 ended up at Miners) due to it being very wet and muddy and the new spot was much more suitable for us with our caravan. Little confusing when we got there, no one was there and no instructions. Trent did answer his phone and direct us when we called and called back later to check we were ok. We appreciated the later “checkout” Trent allowed us to have so that we had time to dry off our stuff, unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there. Also appreciated the fire wood bought down by Trent, we tried to have a fire but the weather wasn’t obliging. We would stay again.

Lovely secluded spot with views over the water and some Highland cow visits😍. Good fire pit as well! Leanna was very accommodating and we had a great time giving the cows some treats and a brush. Would definitely recommend.
