You'll be on the doorstep of the most beautiful beaches, fishing, vibrant local towns and Wilson’s Prom. Wake up to birdsong, go to sleep to the sound of the waves, and spot a koala if you’re lucky. With a flush toilet, a cold bore water shower, an outdoor fridge (old but works fine!), power for charging devices, and a drinking water tank, you’ll be very comfortable as you explore the local area. We love it here and we know you will too. You'll have the paddock to yourself (unless you book end Dec-mid Jan, when it's a shared site - see listing) but you'll be close enough to the action to see the comings and goings of our multigenerational family as we potter around the farm, veggie garden and orchard. Say hi! Say g'day to the curious chooks and friendly dogs and enjoy the top-notch "equine views" from your site with three lovely horses in the next paddock. We loved our stay at Leanne’s. The views over the wetlands were unreal, our spot was tucked away so it felt really private and Leanne was really welcoming and brought us everything we would need to get the fire pit going. It was great seeing her beautiful cows grazing and kangaroos on the horizon. There is a block with a toilet and shower in which is a bit of a walk away from the camping spot. It didn’t matter to us that it was a bit of a walk but something to bear in mind if anyone has accessibility concerns. It was one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely recommend!

Caitlin was an excellent host — friendly, welcoming and quick to help with any questions, but never intrusive. She struck that perfect balance of being available when needed, while giving us full space to settle in and enjoy our weekend. She even brought us fresh eggs, which we cooked over the campfire for breakfast — thank you so much! The location is fantastic: only a couple of minutes’ drive from the beach and township. While there’s a road that runs alongside the property, it’s a quiet one, and we weren’t disturbed by traffic at all. Facilities were just as described. Having a toilet and shower on site was great. We brought our own camping shower for hot water and it was easy to set up in the shower recess — but anyone more hardy than us would probably be totally fine using the shower as-is. The fridge was a real bonus for food storage, and the undercover area made cooking and meals easy — especially handy on a very wet day. The camp area itself was lovely and well-kept, with short grass and views across the horse paddocks. We were also thoroughly entertained by watching the chickens wandering around during the day. The firepit got plenty of use too, and grabbing firewood from Sandy Point township was quick and simple. Overall, we had a brilliant stay and are already looking forward to returning. Thanks Caitlin and hope to see you again soon!

Great setup and it's convenient to the little children and all families. It's close to bike tracks, fishing spots, bistro and general store. The landscape is very beautiful and well maintained and situated close to a river on a hill. We loved our experience there and plan to go back. We recommend this camp site to anyone thinking of trying it out. Not forgetting the top service from care-takers and Munster (dog) were absolute fantastic and they would attend to anything big or small to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

We recently stayed at Bushland Caravan Park, and it was a fantastic camping experience! The park itself is peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful bushland — perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special shoutout goes to Doug, the site manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to help us set up our tent (which definitely saved us some time and stress!) and even sorted us out with firewood so we could enjoy a cozy campfire in the evening. His friendly attitude and genuine willingness to help made a big difference and really added to the positive experience. Highly recommend Bushland Caravan Park — especially thanks to Doug’s hospitality and the great atmosphere around the place. We’ll definitely be coming back!
