A working horse property, with on site coaches and horse trainers. The property is 40 acres, and also is home to numerous kangaroos, wombats, possums, goannas, echidnas, lots of birds and other critters, as well as, of course, lots of horses. We are dog friendly. There is a toilet available. Good access for 2WD and caravans. Drinking water available. Campfires permitted when restrictions not in place. There are lots of attractions nearby, including top class wineries and restaurants, the Warburton walking trail, fantastic mountain bike trails, the Redwood Forest, Kirth Kiln State Park, Bunyip State Park, Mt Donna Buang and the lookout, Ship Rock Falls, 7-acre Rock, Noojee Pub, Cunninghams Pub, Wesburn Pub and Wesburn RSL. Then there are the lovely old towns of Warburton and Healesville, Healesville Sanctuary, Rayners Orchard, the Lotus Gardens in Wesburn, swimming in the Yarra River....the list goes on.

Mountain Mineral Spring is a neighboring farm with Fowkes Family Farm ( King Proteas), New Owners Richard and Mai with Host Tamara (Fowkes Farm) are working together to offer this beautiful site for Off grid stays. - These sites do not have a toilet. No power or water tap. But there is a spring to collect running water. This site has easy access to drive in with plenty of space to turn around. 2 different flat areas to choose from to set up. This property has two sites that can be booked, two different listings - (see Fowkes family flower farm for other listing) Only a 20-minute walk to the town of Kinglake and a minute drive. This site offers plenty of open space to safely have a campfire. Plenty of fallen branches and trees to cut up for firewood. Or purchase wood from the local food works, closing at 7pm OR the servo closing at 9pm. This site is on a 105-acre farm, with a private spring water swimming hole, water can be collected from the running water spring. The farm is home to a mob of kangaroos, please watch from a distance. You will also spot and hear wild deer. The site does have plenty of grassed area, but we will let you know there is a bit of black berry bushes that we will start removing over time. (This area we cannot use chemicals close to the water ways.) We have 2 goats Eve & Rain to help with the weeds and greeting our guests. This site has a lot of history from bottling water from the old factory, (no longer in use), Potatoe and berry farming and raising sheep. You will feel so relaxed in a private and tranquil site. We manage 2 sites on this farm and 2 sites on the neighboring farm. Taxi service - The Graceful-Goat to get you around to the local eats and wineries. The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm except December which is the Sunday before Christmas - twilight 2-7pm No market in January. The St. Andrews market is every Saturday, 9am to 1pm just 12 minutes down the mountain. Whittlesea market is on every Monday 9am - 1pm *You will have access to Fowkes Family Farm to purchase and pick flowers and come along to feed the sheep.

Secluded in its location, amongst the bushy hills of Hoddles Creek. Much of the 15 acres is undulating bushland with a track looping the property. The track leads down past a beautiful dam located in the property and weaves its way to border the Kurth Kiln Regional Park. Park near the dam and wake up in the morning to the sounds of the birds and have breakfast by the water. During the day go to the amazing nearby wineries in the nearby yarra valley and enjoy lunch in style. Please note: in case of recent rains 2wd/campervans/RVs may have difficulties accessing the site!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The horses were beautiful to watch, and the campsite was clean and well maintained. Our little white dog even went home looking cleaner than we expected! We had a wonderful stay at Kiernan Park Equestrian Centre. Being surrounded by such beautiful countryside, horses, roos and rabbits, it was beyond relaxing. We had a couple of great nights around the fire too. Jenny was the perfect host, taking care of us and chatting whilst our doggos played. Jenny's doggo, Whiz, is gorgeous. We'll definitely be back when we're exploring the Yarra Valley again. Highly recommended.

private and quiet and lots of grass and trees and lovely spring water to use. Not a lot of flat space on the area I was in, but fine for me and my swag. Very close to Kinglake shops with a good supermarket, and also a great playground for those with children. Good communication from Tamara.

We stayed here over the ANZAC weekend and really enjoyed it! Despite the rain (which was out of anyone’s control), the site was lovely, peaceful, and secluded — we had plenty of space away from other campers. The campfire setup was provided and was really nice to use. Being close to town made it super convenient whenever we needed to grab something from Foodworks or pick up extra firewood. Our pug absolutely loved it too! Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous spot to park up for the weekend! On the grass - spot 2 is definitely the more picturesque spot near the spring, you’re surrounded by trees, with a huge amount of space (although not a lot of it level, come prepared). The dam/spring in autumn is brown rather than blue but still lovely for a dip. The fire pit and wood left from other campers was much appreciated. Recommend taking a stroll behind the old bottling building to watch sunset and the Roos over the paddock. Town is a 15 min walk from the site if you need anything. We had no issues with neighbour noise, the other site is somewhat out of view. Tamara was a responsive and lovely host, highly recommend a stay here.
