First off, Paul is an absolute gentleman and was easy to deal with. His hospitality was above and beyond. The campsite and amenities were great, clean showers and flush toilets, although we didn’t use the BBQ, there was one there. The camp sites were very spacious, could easily fit multi people/tents setups. It was a very peaceful stay and enjoyed the scenery, especially with the occasional visits from the goats. Also, about a 20 minute drive to Ballarat. Highly recommend the camp to anyone thinking of it. Would definitely stay again. Thank you again Paul to you and your family.

Had an amazing stay over new years in Pauls cabin. There;s a dam on site for swimming, lots of space for walks and the cabin was perfect for a bit of offgrid living. Thanks Paul, hope to come stay again sometime.

Thank you Paul for a wonderful stay! The campsite was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed! Had multiple visits from some goat friends! Paul and his family were such welcoming hosts! My friend and I felt very looked after! The site felt private and the wildlife about was so wonderful! Would absolutely 1000% camp here again and will be recommending this spot to many people!

Our stay at the farmhouse was absolute magic! 🌟 Maxine, the host, is an angel - so kind, positive, and supportive . The view is simply stunning, and the animals (horse,dogs, cows, sheep, cats even hares) stole our hearts! My daughter and I had the best time ever. If you're thinking of booking, DON'T HESITATE - this place is a gem ! Highly recommend!"

Great place for a big group. There is an oval for kids and adults to play. There is a kitchen, a room, ladies and men's bathrooms and a big hall with cooling and heating. We have been here twice and likely will comeback.

We had a fantastic stay at Riverside Camp Site at Moorabool Ridge Vineyard. The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind.
Amy and her husband were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome, which made us feel comfortable straight away. Communication was easy, and they were genuinely kind and helpful throughout our stay.
The campsite was clean, well maintained, and spacious. The washroom was fresh and clean, and perfectly maintained, which made our stay very comfortable.
A special mention to Gracie, the Golden Retriever — she is incredibly friendly and made our stay even more memorable and enjoyable. We absolutely fell in love with her, and she truly added a special charm to the experience.
We highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and memorable camping stay. Thank you, Amy — we would happily stay again!

The best Hipcamps experience we've had. The hosts are very welcoming and have a beautiful block of land where everything has been thoughtfully set up to provide all you need for a peaceful, private and interesting escape from the city. I also thoroughly enjoyed and recommend the optional astronomy session. We hope to visit again one day, thanks.

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful hut. Megan and Patrick are so welcoming and helpful to walk me through everything I need to know upon arrival, and are super responsive to messages/requests. It's very peaceful and safe surroundings with some walking trails to explore. Inside the hub felt everything was well prepared and I didn't need to bring much extra stuff myself except for food and clothes. Besides, I do recommend having a mosquito repellent handy when outside or near the veranda. Overall I'm so happy that I booked this trip, highly recommending it and I will be coming back :)

This hut is a perfect secluded getaway from the city. Megan has fitted the hut with everything you could need for a comfortable and nature filled weekend. I felt very refreshed after my very enjoyable and relaxing stay. I would highly recommend.

Our stay at this site was an awesome adventure. Paul and his family were so accommodating. Paul made sure we were stocked with firewood for both days of our stay and his wife the boss drove us into town so we could attend the Spilt milk festival. He even offered to walk us back to our camp site when the uber dropped us off at the gate after our night.
The camp has a shower and a toilet which are well maintained and the sites are very well spaced so we felt comfortable in our own area.
We felt so safe on this stay and very well looked after.
Will definitely be booking in a trip back soon. Thank you for having us!

The host, Paul was absolutely incredible. Very lovely, friendly and just incredible hospitality. Kept us updated on the goings of our camps, and when he topped up our firewood! The campgrounds themselves were great as well, with lots of open area!

The 2WD-accessible camping spot facing the dam is easy to reach. With only one campsite available, it's nice knowing you won’t have other groups right next to you. We didn’t get to use the canoe, but it’s there for guests to enjoy.
You’ll definitely experience some wildlife during your stay. We had a very busy but respectful kookaburra keeping us company the whole time, and plenty of happy wallabies and kangaroos hopping around. In warmer weather, if you go for a bushwalk, be mindful of snakes, and you may also see flying termites arriving at sunset.
Karen and David were very welcoming. Lalgambook Retreat is the perfect spot to enjoy a true camping experience while still having easy access to a hot shower and a clean flushable toilet just a short walk away.

Amy was lovely and the space is beautiful, we swam in the river and relaxed under the trees in our caravan. A really quiet and secluded spot ❤️ we were just passing through this time but think we’ll visit again!
