We are approximately 13 km south-west of New Norfolk, and 50 km from Hobart. We have a range of accommodation options, including camping, a ten bed dormitory and a self-contained family cabin. All guests have access to the communal facilities comprising: * kitchen and common room * toilets and hot showers * free laundry facilities * free barbeque facilities * free Wi-Fi Discover the variety of unique Tasmanian animals and birdlife on the property, or take an easy drive to some of Tasmania’s most renowned World Heritage wilderness areas and National Parks a short distance away. Our paradise is located on Bruny Island, with forest mountain views to the west stretching to the south and east across Adventure Bay to Tasman Island and Peninsula. Camp is just a short walk to Quiet Corner and Two Tree Point, two iconic spots on the Adventure Bay coastline. Fluted Cape and this whole area are spectacular for nature lovers. And you'll be sharing the space with resident wallabies and native birdlife. This little block has plenty of sun and a shady fern glade for hammocks, flat spots for camping or vans, with a BBQ and fire pit. There is also a camp kitchen located in a cosy north-facing cabin with a lounge. We have a newly built toilet and shower block. Pet's are welcome, but we ask they be kept on a lead - see rules. All summed up to be the perfect peaceful getaway on Bruny island. Adventure Bay shop is 1 km away. A well stocked general store selling firewood bundles and fuel.

Female only! Stay in a bohemian traditional Mongolian Ger (yurt) on a beautiful Australian native garden of 2 acres overlooking Mercury Passage and fascinating Maria Island. Private yet safely contained within the property Would be ideal for single travelling female if any age who wishes to explore this beautiful area. Visit the stunning Maria Island, 20 minutes away to the Triabunna ferry. Visit Freycinet and the Tasman Peninsula. Hobart is 75 minutes away, airport 50 minutes. East Coast Tasmania..nowhere better! Enjoy lots of activities in the area and come back to your serene surroundings. The Seadragon Yurt is basic and rustic. It's cosy, has minimal facilities but you can boil a kettle, microwave a meal (home cooked meals $15 booked in advance) a porta porti and main bathroom facilities in my house twice daily.. There's an armchair, a wood stove, a single comfortable stretcher bed. Microwave, tea & coffee. Filtered rainwater. BYO sheets & towels or let me know and I can provide. I'm a respectable distance away but your privacy is as important to you as it is to me. Park on-site and you have a private entrance. There are two silly labradors who may visit you outside so you do need to be a dog person. If not.. sorry the yurt is not for you. Please note this is a female only property.
