We have 80 acres of farm, approximately 15 minutes from town. Our campsites are located in a paddock on our farm, perfect for off grid self contained campers. We are not far from The Blue Lake, The little blue is also close by, and is perfect for swimming in summer. The Umpherston Caves is literally just down the road, and is wonderful for a picnic, or on dusk feeding the possums. Sites are approx 20m x 20m, lined with trees, perfect for pitching a tent, parking a van, camper trailer, RV, or even a bus! You can even bring your boat! We are only 25 minutes away from Port MacDonnell, put your boat in, go fishing or just enjoy the beach. One van/tent per site (unless negotiated prior). Our sites are all located in a back paddock, it's quiet and peaceful. We have sites available to cater for RVs, vans and tents. Must be self-contained (no facilities provided, must dispose of waste at approved dumpsites in town), take your rubbish with you; dogs are welcome if they are friendly and well behaved.

This property is located at the base of Mount Richmond, just 15 minutes from Portland. Bridgwater lakes is just down the road. And Bridgwater bay about 10 km from camp. We have grassy site available with plenty of shade for self contained campers. We often have Kangaroos and Koalas along with plenty of other wildlife on the property so keep an eye out and make the most of a great wildlife watching opportunity. There are a number of water holes on the property the wildlife like to enjoy.The property borders a section of the Great South West Walk and you can easily get onto the track from here. This walk has some stunning scenery and is a great spot to enjoy this part of the coastline, all from a comfortable base back at camp.Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided pending there is no restrictions in place. Due to council regulations we can only accept self-contained campervans and caravans with internal toilet/ensuite. Traditional, ancestral territory of the Boandik First Nations people. We are situated on a quiet country road. This camp site is a fenced two-acre paddock surrounded on the east, south and west sides with revegetation of local native trees, shrubs and grasses. This area is a fabulous star gazing location with a clear and un-obstructed horizon. The historical Centenary Tower and Crater Lakes can be seen from the campsite. Campfires and firewood available. Firewood available on request ($10/bag at 10kg includes kindling). Pets welcome but we request they're on lead for safety of your pet. I would 100% recommend Pine ridge. It was a great clean and neat site. Very accessible, flat and large sites. Natasha was super helpful and responsive. We had a group of 5 cars and 2 trailers but there was plenty of place on site white. Extra points for the super cute Highland cow.

Great spot, close to town and local attractions like the Umpherston Sinkhole just down the road. Plenty of space for the kids to run free while parents sit back, relax, enjoy a fire and the serenity. Great sun exposure for the solar panels too! Natasha and Damian were very welcoming and accomodating. We were lucky to be invited up to feed the goats including bottle feeding baby goat Milo… so adorable! Kids had an absolute ball! Thank you for opening up your property guys!

We loved camping at Pine Ridge! The sites were spacious and the hosts were very accommodating!! Our kids loved playing on the hay bales, and feeding the hosts miniature goats. We even got some amazing honey and got to see all the hosts birds. Definitely worth staying.

Easy to find the property. Good base to explore the area. Great that Shaddy Gums allows dogs - our dog loved it there. We stayed at Campsite 1 -Under the Gums. We have a flip top style camper and just had to manoeuvre it a bit to get it in the right spot to open the lid without hitting overhanging branches. . If you have a large camper or caravan, definitely book Campsite 2- By the dam which has a big, flat open area to park a larger RV. Lots of wildlife seen - grey kangaroos, swamp wallabies, emus, rabbits, yellow-tailed black cockatoos, blue wrens, fantails, currawongs, magpies, tree creepers etc. Heard but didn't see koalas. Campsite 2 track was a little overgrown so we didn't find it immediately but soon did. Half barrel fire pit with grill available plus some chopped firewood which was great as our second night was a bit chilly. The two campsites are about 100m apart and you can't see each other due to trees screening but can hear each other - all fine for us because the other campsite was just family noise - a young family having fun with their kids. The owner doesn't live on the property. There is an old derelict farmhouse in view from both campsites but no one seems to live there. We enjoyed walking along the property boundary fence - there is a mix of open bracken/plantation gums/native bush with plenty of xanthorrhea ('blackboys'). Plus very friendly cattle in the neighbouring field. A short drive to nearby lakes, the ocean beach and Portland.

Such a peaceful place to stay. The sunsets through the trees are lovely. Looking out on the farmland with cows and paddocks was very relaxing. We loved the friendly highland cow in the next paddock too, who was very welcoming. It is a short drive into Mt Gambier but far enough away to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere which we loved.
