Nature at its best
Absolutely loved this place. Close to Portland and Cape Bridgewater but felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. We even had a resident koala we named Toni Collette! Loads of little wrens, kookaburras, a great fire pit and dark starry nights, very easy to find and a friendly host. Brilliant. We’ll be back.

Camp 2 by the water hole
Wonderful private bush camp - plenty of wildlife including Koalas (we saw three koalas in the separate trees within 100m of the camp site), emus, and lots of bird species. Brendon was very responsive to an issue from a previous camper and provided plenty of firewood for the fire pit.

Camp 1 under the gums
We enjoyed complete peace in a natural environment. There was a nearby walk & Brendon was thoughtful enough to check we had enough firewood for an additional day we decided to stay. I’m happy to recommend !

Bush camp favourite
If you love bush camping, you’ll love Shaddy Gums. Birds, koalas, roos, privacy and ideally situated 15 mins from both Portland and cape bridgewater. A mere 400m or so from the terrigal camp on the GSWW. And Brendon was super helpful with info and firewood. Highly recommend.
