We have 80 acres of farm, approximately 15 minutes from town. Our campsites are located in a paddock on our farm, perfect for off grid self contained campers. We are not far from The Blue Lake, The little blue is also close by, and is perfect for swimming in summer. The Umpherston Caves is literally just down the road, and is wonderful for a picnic, or on dusk feeding the possums. Sites are approx 20m x 20m, lined with trees, perfect for pitching a tent, parking a van, camper trailer, RV, or even a bus! You can even bring your boat! We are only 25 minutes away from Port MacDonnell, put your boat in, go fishing or just enjoy the beach. One van/tent per site (unless negotiated prior). Our sites are all located in a back paddock, it's quiet and peaceful. We have sites available to cater for RVs, vans and tents. Must be self-contained (no facilities provided, must dispose of waste at approved dumpsites in town), take your rubbish with you; dogs are welcome if they are friendly and well behaved.

Noorla Farm (Happy Camping Ground)

We live in a beautiful valley on 30 acres, that not many people know about. We're joined by 3 friendly dogs, 4 horses, 2 alpacas, 4 Galloway cows and chooks, along with the resident wildlife including many birds, kangaroos, koalas, shy owls, and even an echidna! All this, plus beautiful views from atop our hills, right to the lake, and the delightful winter creek complete with frogs. We are close to the McLaren Vale wine region as well as wineries throughout the Hills and 35 minutes to the coast of Victor Harbor. The Greenman Inn is 5 minutes down the road and has wonderful food from Wed to Sun if you do not feel the urge to cook with wood fires for the cold nights or a gorgeous outdoor area for the warmer months. At present, we offer two areas for camping. Topspot which has lovely views and is quite secluded amongst the tree tops. This site is suitable for tents and camper trailers (need reasonable backing skills and 4WD) The Laneway which is close to the babbling creek is suitable for those with a small caravan, or motorhome, 2WD etc, along with tent campers. (but would struggle with large caravans/motorhomes - please check with hosts) (The Lookout/Highview has spectacular views and is suitable for tents and camper trailers, accessible by low-range 4WD (or AWD if the weather is dry) - Please note this site is currently closed due to stock rotation.) If you have any doubts about which to book, please ask. AUTUMN/WINTER MONTHS: if we receive considerable rain the trek up to the hill sites could become slippery and not accessible as it is a farm paddock, therefore unfortunately your booking may need to be cancelled. NOTE: On our farm there is limited phone coverage in the valley (The Laneway) Topspot and The Lookout/Highview do have coverage. Pets are welcome, however, please ensure they are kept under control (unless discussed with the host) at all times as we have our livestock and are surrounded by neighboring livestock, as well as the wildlife that frequently visits. Please note: This is an active small farm, therefore work may need be continued throughout your stay possibly necessitating the use of machinery and tending to our livestock. If you wish to see some of the animals up close, please let us know and we will try to accommodate. We ask that all fires be contained within the fire pit provided and a portable toilet is available for your use. BUSHFIRE SEASON: Wood and open fires are not permitted in the bushfire season, therefore you will not be able to use the fire pits.

Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Harry's Rockleigh Bush Camp. The free-range sites are on lovely flat camping areas amongst native trees, overlooking adjacent fields. Enjoy bird watching or walking part of the Lavender Trail which passes near camp. Relax at the communal campfire (depending on fire regulations). The camping grounds offer a generous amount of space, and great sunrises. We have available fire pits, bush toilet, shower and a camp kitchen with gas BBQ. BYO firewood, toilet paper and dishwashing liquid. Pease take your rubbish with you when you leave thanks. Pets welcome on leash. Children under 2 are free. Do not include them in your booking or they will be charged. Campers need to arrive no later than 6.30pm unless otherwise arranged. The property is around an hour drive from Adelaide, and Murray Bridge is only 20 km away. Please note: We ask that you treat all of nature with respect. For example the use of drones, climbing or breaking trees is not allowed. Adults are responsible for their children at all times. As a bonus, a trip with Harry in his wagon drawn by his two Clydesdale horses, George and Henry can be arranged at a modest price!

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have a toilet available but please BYO toilet paper. From the 15th April fire are allowed. & portable firepits are available for your use Sorry, not pets.

Along with local kangaroos, you'll likely spot our small flock of sheep in the paddock nearby or the neighbouring horses up the hill. Ask us about our small batch wine and take advantage of being in the heart of wine country - the nearest cellar door is only a 3 minute drive away! After an afternoon of wine tasting, drive 10 minutes to the beach and enjoy a sunset over the water. Tomorrow, choose your own adventure with more wining and dining, swimming and surfing, or walking one of McLaren Vale's stunning trails. On a Saturday, you might find yourself at the Willunga Farmers Market (5 min drive) which runs each week from 8am to Midday and offers a variety of local goods and produce. Wineries within a 10 minute drive include: - Battle of Bosworth Wines - Down the Rabbit Hole Wines - Fox Creek Wines - Ekhidna Wines - and many more! - Not to forget Swell Brewing Co., just 9 minutes away. Our favourite coffee places include: - Dawn Patrol Coffee (4 min drive) - Goodness Coffee Co. (8 min drive) - Someday Soon Co. (6 min drive) - many more in Willunga and Aldinga! Please note the following! - No shower or toilet facilities provided, campers must be self-sufficient. - Three drinking water taps are available for your convenience. - No pets. We have a variety of animals on our property that rely on us to keep them safe. - No motorbikes. - No fires from approx. November 1 - April 30 due to SA restrictions. If not during this time, please clear it with us as restrictions and fire ban days change year to year. - Please stay within the designated camp area! As a working property and vineyard, we have large machinery in use daily and visitors must follow biosecurity protocol (fancy explanation for keeping everyone's vineyards safe from disease and pests).

Caravans and large motorhomes are suited to The Paddock site. The Paddock is an open site near the tourist shop. Perfect for larger set ups and great for solar. You are free to watch the camels in the paddock from behind the fenceline. If you are after a more up and personal experience with the beautiful beasts, you can book a Morning Milking Tour or a Camel Safari in our electric buggy. Book these experiences on the website www.humpalicious.com.au. Robe Camel Farm is a very relaxed environment. We will be carrying on daily jobs such as camel feeding, building, training etc. Guests are welcome to participate in daily farm life if they choose to! Welcome to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, a privately-owned conservancy focused on providing habitat for native animals to live in the wild. Since 1997 the Sanctuary has worked to conserve and protect the natural resources within its boundaries, especially the native Australian flora and fauna. We have a BEACH camp site available that offer spectacular ocean views of the wild south coast. Campers will have access to a pit toilet during their stay. There is a 2 night maximum stay. You will find plenty of sightseeing opportunities and interesting places to visit within easy reach of Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Although much of the western end of Kangaroo Island was severely impacted by the January 2020 bushfires, the uniquely Australian story of rebirth and regeneration after fire is compelling. Much of the western end of Kangaroo Island is covered in parks and reserves and it is often referred to as the natural end of the Island. You will find large areas of pristine natural bushland, numerous native wildlife, spectacular, rugged coastal cliffs and beautiful seascapes and beaches. Throughout the wilderness areas you will also discover old buildings and ruins which have been preserved because of their historical role in the development of the island. And if that is not enough to hold your interest, you can swim in the bay, fish from a sandy beach, dive some ship wrecks, surf some big waves, go sand boarding or go bush walking, Whatever your interest, you will find plenty of things to do on your next holiday at the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. FLINDERS CHASE NATIONAL PARK The Flinders Chase National Park covers much of the western end of Kangaroo Island. Flinders Chase offers stunning coastal landscapes, vast areas of wilderness and a variety of recreational opportunities. There is a network of walking trails throughout the park providing you with numerous bushwalking opportunities. REMARKABLE ROCKS Remarkable Rocks is an impressive cluster of sculpted granite boulders perched on a huge rounded granite dome that drops steeply away to the surging seas some 70 metres below. ADMIRALS ARCH Admirals Arch is a spectacular archway formed by the relentless waves pounding the cliffs and cutting a path through the cliffs.
