The campsite sits on one of the hills with a predominantly north-easterly aspect, overlooking gullies and gum trees. Due to its elevation, some times of the year can be windy, so it’s best to check forecasts before arrival. The highlight of Humpy Springs is a natural spring-fed freshwater lake, accessible by a short bush walk down steep hills or by 4WD via approved tracks. Swim or kayak at your own risk, with a pontoon and ladder for easy access. Kayaks can be hired for the duration of your stay. This lake is a peaceful sanctuary, surrounded by rugged hills, ducks, and occasionally grazing kangaroos. It’s our favorite feature, offering calm and tranquility at every visit. For those who enjoy bushwalking or hiking, a track leads to the top of the hills, revealing stunning views over McLaren Flat, Blewitt Springs, and out to Moana and the coast. The hike takes roughly an hour, mostly gentle with a short steep 50-meter section near the lake. The sites are natural, with no amenities provided, so campers must be self-sufficient. There is space for camp trailers and caravans, ideally pulled by 4WD vehicles due to the topography. Firewood is available at a minimal cost—please advise when booking so it can be calculated based on nights and guests. Humpy Springs offers a perfect blend of nature, adventure, and tranquility. Spend your days exploring the lake, walking the trails, or visiting local wineries, and your evenings relaxing under gum trees, listening to birds, and watching the sunset. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. The creek line paddocks are dedicated to Hipcampers, so you can be assured your campsite won't be interrupted by curious cows during your stay. We can't say the same for the wild kangaroos that call Tanah Merdeka home though. Please be respectful of the working nature of the property and shut any gates you go through except for the automatic gates. Please respect our privacy and don't venture up the driveway towards the house. You are welcome to walk through and explore the paddocks containing the creek line. Do not drive across the creek - walking and bicycles only. Please do not feed the wildlife or the cattle and practice leave no trace camping. Our site is located along the Lavender Federation Walking Trail. 7km from Springton General Store where you can pick up all basic supplies including fuel and simple takeaway meals, or Springton pub across the road has pub meals. 25 mins to Angaston (with the Barossa Valley Cheese Company) and the wider Barossa area. 30 mins the other direction to Woodside (where you will find Melba’s chocolate factory) and the greater Adelaide hills. 25mins to the Birdwood Motor Museum 30mins to the Big Rocking Horse in Gumeracha where you can climb the Big Rocking Horse for $2. 15km to Eagle View 4WD Track (Sanderston) If you’re here on a Saturday morning the Mount Pleasant Farms Markets (8am-12), 10 mins down the road is a great place to pick up some fresh produce and a coffee. Overlooking the Blyth Plains above Kybunga, the views are nothing short of stunning. Nearly every evening brings fabulous sunsets. Ideal for family stays or just a quiet spot to chill out. Bush walking in the Spring Gully National Park is just down the road and within 2klms is the Armagh to Spring Gully trail. Our neighbours include the fabulous Eldridge Wines, one of Clare Valleys best. Close by are many more fabulous wineries and one of the best Gin Distillers (in our opinion) in the Mid North, Sawmill Gin. The local taxi service is very accommodating and happy to come out to Seven Sisters. I believe they will also ferry you to wineries in the area. Seven Sisters is a hilly grassland with wooded areas, creeks and rocky outcrops to explore. Anywhere within our boundary fence is there for you to explore. Our sites on the property are easily accessed. 2 sites on our farm road with a 4th site set at the back of the property which is very secluded. All sites have seasonal fire pits. Please don’t enter the fenced area around the house or go outside our boundary. Ideal for families or just a quiet stay.

The campsite sits on one of the hills with a predominantly north-easterly aspect, overlooking gullies and gum trees. Due to its elevation, some times of the year can be windy, so it’s best to check forecasts before arrival. The highlight of Humpy Springs is a natural spring-fed freshwater lake, accessible by a short bush walk down steep hills or by 4WD via approved tracks. Swim or kayak at your own risk, with a pontoon and ladder for easy access. Kayaks can be hired for the duration of your stay. This lake is a peaceful sanctuary, surrounded by rugged hills, ducks, and occasionally grazing kangaroos. It’s our favorite feature, offering calm and tranquility at every visit. For those who enjoy bushwalking or hiking, a track leads to the top of the hills, revealing stunning views over McLaren Flat, Blewitt Springs, and out to Moana and the coast. The hike takes roughly an hour, mostly gentle with a short steep 50-meter section near the lake. The sites are natural, with no amenities provided, so campers must be self-sufficient. There is space for camp trailers and caravans, ideally pulled by 4WD vehicles due to the topography. Firewood is available at a minimal cost—please advise when booking so it can be calculated based on nights and guests. Humpy Springs offers a perfect blend of nature, adventure, and tranquility. Spend your days exploring the lake, walking the trails, or visiting local wineries, and your evenings relaxing under gum trees, listening to birds, and watching the sunset. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton Important Information to know before ALL GUESTS/VISITORS MUST BE BOOKED IN BEFORE ENTERING OUR PROPERTY!!! All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. Tanah Merdeka is a 184 acre cattle farm currently stocked with Black Baldies, Speckle Park, Angus and Hereford. The creek line paddocks are dedicated to Hipcampers, so you can be assured your campsite won't be interrupted by curious cows during your stay. We can't say the same for the wild kangaroos that call Tanah Merdeka home though. Please be respectful of the working nature of the property and shut any gates you go through except for the automatic gates. Please respect our privacy and don't venture up the driveway towards the house. You are welcome to walk through and explore the paddocks containing the creek line. Do not drive across the creek - walking and bicycles only. Please do not feed the wildlife or the cattle and practice leave no trace camping. Springton is the home of the historic Herbig Family Tree; in 1855 Mr Herbig and his wife lived in this tree and welcomed 2 of their 16 children whilst living inside the tree. We offer a wide grassy area peppered with trees, ideal for a relaxing spacious camp. No toilet facilities onsite so campers must be self-contained. Our site is located along the Lavender Federation Walking Trail. 7km from Springton General Store where you can pick up all basic supplies including fuel and simple takeaway meals, or Springton pub across the road has pub meals. 25 mins to Angaston (with the Barossa Valley Cheese Company) and the wider Barossa area. 30 mins the other direction to Woodside (where you will find Melba’s chocolate factory) and the greater Adelaide hills. 25mins to the Birdwood Motor Museum 30mins to the Big Rocking Horse in Gumeracha where you can climb the Big Rocking Horse for $2. 15km to Eagle View 4WD Track (Sanderston) If you’re here on a Saturday morning the Mount Pleasant Farms Markets (8am-12), 10 mins down the road is a great place to pick up some fresh produce and a coffee. The pet friendly caravan, RV and tent bush camping sites are a hidden gem, offering a relaxing environment where you can commune with nature, enjoy a campfire (we have firewood for sale), pop into a Mannum pub for a meal and then gaze back billions of years at our brilliant stars. Whether you looking for a quiet overnight rest stop, a weekend getaway or a base to visit the Barossa, Adelaide Hills or lower Murray with Adelaide an easy 90 minute drive away. The bird-life is booming, the stars are doing their brilliant best, so now is a great time to stop by. The camp-ground is 2WD, large vehicle friendly and sites are sheltered and easily accessible, with several sites suitable for larger rigs. Gum Park is a working Cattle Property where our family lives and works full time. We also have a butchery on farm where we process our own beef and pork for sale at local farmer's markets. Gum Park is a certified organic farm, so no chemicals are sprayed on our pastures or anywhere within our property. Our property is at the top of the watershed, so we don't get run off from other properties nearby. We are situated 14 km from the centre of Victor Harbor on the top of Cut Hill. Overlooking the Blyth Plains above Kybunga, the views are nothing short of stunning. Nearly every evening brings fabulous sunsets. Ideal for family stays or just a quiet spot to chill out. Bush walking in the Spring Gully National Park is just down the road and within 2klms is the Armagh to Spring Gully trail. Our neighbours include the fabulous Eldridge Wines, one of Clare Valleys best. Close by are many more fabulous wineries and one of the best Gin Distillers (in our opinion) in the Mid North, Sawmill Gin. The local taxi service is very accommodating and happy to come out to Seven Sisters. I believe they will also ferry you to wineries in the area. Seven Sisters is a hilly grassland with wooded areas, creeks and rocky outcrops to explore. Anywhere within our boundary fence is there for you to explore. Our sites on the property are easily accessed. 2 sites on our farm road with a 4th site set at the back of the property which is very secluded. All sites have seasonal fire pits. Please don’t enter the fenced area around the house or go outside our boundary. Ideal for families or just a quiet stay.

Camping at Kangaroo Creek was lovely! Thomas met us upon arrival and told us about his beautiful land (and his adorable cows!). He was really nice and let us explore the grounds. The camp spot was private, quiet and was great for pitching our tent. We even saw a couple of kangaroos and a lot of cockatoos! The drive there was easy with a 2WD. We would definitely go back, and I can recommend it to everyone regardless of camping style!

Plenty of space to find a camp spot. Toilets and showers were good. Had to pay $2 coin to use shower. We camped right before new years so was starting to get full when we left. Close to Robe and easy to get to. Jacqui was responsive. Was slightly more costly than I am used to paying on Hipcamp.

Belinda was amazing! Our wine tasting with her was one of our favourites to date. She is so warm and welcoming and her history with wine and wine making is fascinating. It’s not often you get to do a wine tasting with the wine maker themselves, and the wines were delicious. We bought three bottles! The site is also beautiful nestled in amongst the vines, and location is perfect to access lots of the local wineries

Before we even arrived, Jacqui provided us with helpful directions and tips on local highlights (where to eat, drink and what to see/do whilst in Robe). Check in and out was easy, the paddocks were large enough that we didn’t hear any of the other campers after sunset. The facilities (toilets and showers) were very appreciated and well kept (cleaned on a daily basis). During our first morning we also received some guidance on the nearby 4WD tracks and beach driving. Highly recommend this site to friends and strangers 😊

Firstly the hosts Paul and Chris went above and beyond. Very generous with their time. The campsites were great, good size and very quite location. The highlight was the showers. Fill a bucket lift it up and done. Cool refreshing wash. ( warm water available from camp kitchen if not keen on a cold wash) but we loved it.

We stayed here for a few days just before Xmas, we found it to be very easy to locate. Camp managers were great to deal with. The camp ground set in a stunning setting. Very quite, gum trees all around, just beautiful for a few days of relaxing. The facilities were great. Clean toilets great laundry.
