Our camping area is separated from the growing areas by the road, the camping area is approximately 2.5 acres & borders Hopping Dicks Creek. Farm walks can be taken by negotiation depending on season ; fees apply ( Morning/afternoon tea included). Available produce can be purchased. Caravans up to 6 mtrs long are acceptable (1 site only ) with 3 sites in total ( other sites suit smaller vans, camper trailers, tents etc) Facilities are basic, there is a bush toilet and a camp kitchen with gas stove and sink. No showers. Tank water on site is pumped from the creek and must be boiled/filtered before use. Entry to the grounds is opposite Number 325 and has a sign on the fence. NOTE, 325 is not our property, do not enter this driveway or use their bins. Our driveway is approx 50 mtrs further along the road. There are rubbish and recycle bins for your use in the campgrounds. This is an area with significant wildlife and for this reason we cannot allow cats or dogs under any circumstances, IF, by chance you hit an animal or see an injured one please report it to us immediately. Please drive carefully. The area is very beautiful with lovely drives, bike rides & walks. The newly opened Murwillumbah Rail Trail is 30 mins drive away. Lovely local cafes are at Crystal Creek and Tyalgum approx 15 mins away.

The campsites are nestled in the groves of trees next to the creek. There's some great swimming spots, or you can go for a bushwalk and do a spot of fossicking on the water's edge. Some parts of our property are 4WD access only, but we also have good camping spots that can accommodate 2WDs. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. If you choose to camp in the open away from the trees, the house will be in sight, but we live a quiet life and will respect your privacy. The site is perfect for couples and family/friend groups. We can accommodate, tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. Being so close to the CBD the site is a great option for 'shake down' short stays for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. There is a large flat grassy area for kids to play and ride bikes. Please keep in mind that this is a 'Farm Stay', you will be camping on a working property which is also our big back yard. Your privacy is assured, however, if you are looking for total seclusion, this may not be the Hipcamp property for you. Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away. Campfires are permitted. Firewood is available as an 'extra' for $20, if you would like a bundle please amend your booking to include firewood. Power (10amp 0nly) and water is available close to your campsite, but you must bring your own camping toilet. Daily water usage is included in your booking fee. Long range water tank fill ups incur a one off extra fee of $10, please include this in your booking under extras. We are friendly hosts who will respect your privacy and welcome your children to participate in farmyard feeding times and egg collecting (less eggs in winter). Our geese and ducks and chickens are hand reared so they are not aggressive at all 😃 We have two Sausage dogs, Ockie and Arlo. Ockie especially likes to visit campers, Arlo is a little less social but she may visit if she musters up the courage. This is their home so if you aren't doggy people perhaps this isn't the campsite for you. Please keep your food and rubbish up high so the doggos and other critters don't help themselves. Horse riding lessons are available by prior arrangement. Please give 7 days notice prior to your stay should you wish to book a riding lesson. No dogs please, Ockie and Arlo are the masters of their domain and don't like doggy interlopers. NB: The site is not suitable for parties or large group gatherings.

We have a no dog policy. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming, canoeing. The property is traversed by a number of rain forested creeks and ravines which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

The Lakes

Our farm features lush, green rolling hills with a river, creek and dam traversing the property. There are undulating hills with pockets of forest. The campsites are nestled in the groves of trees next to the creek. There's some great swimming spots, or you can go for a bushwalk and do a spot of fossicking on the water's edge. Some parts of our property are 4WD access only, but we also have good camping spots that can accommodate 2WDs. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water.
