The knight Ranch is a small hobby farm with beautiful flat grassy fields, Established trees providing plenty of shade. Wildlife a plenty. With resident animals tawny frog mouth and ducks. The camp/caravan site is isolated out in the rear paddock. The most pristine area on the property. As soon as you arrive you will begin to relax. Easy access off wallace road and easy pull through to the back paddock. Open grassy field with established trees overlooking a small dam and bushland. The perfect place to set up, chuck a roast on and crack a cold one. Campfire locations set up with rocks. Sunrises through the trees over the wetland/bushes. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. As we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.

Just 8 minutes away you will find the Coomera river and 2 minutes beyond the small town of Canungra with lots of quaint cafe’s and small local businesses. Forest Nook is a private and secluded get away that feels disconnected from society, but is only 45 minutes away from the Gold Coast. Just 20 minutes away is Lamington National Park. Whether for a small gathering of friends or a family get away, this beautiful private nature retreat will provide the peace and quiet you’ve been craving. At the moment the land is undeveloped, you will need to bring all your own supplies, water, camper or tent. Firewood can be found on the land. Our campsites are located in the rear section of Brisbane North Rental Village, which offers cabin and caravan accommodation to short and long term guests. You'll struggle to camp closer to Brisbane CBD.

Sarah's place is superb. Fabulous views across the valley to the mountains opposite. Abundant birdlife. Swaggers and Mango sites may have the best views, but we had Abrahams - which also has great views, but benefits from having lots of privacy. The nearest other site was maybe 100 metres away. Only four sites on a huge property. I loved the copious supply of free firewood. We had a fire each night. It was so peaceful. Hardly any bother from mozzies or midges. There may be no showers, but we really enjoyed our stay here. After some harsher nights camping up in Queensland, Sarah's place restored our faith in camping as a peaceful, soulful way to spend ones evenings, nights and days. Superb. Thank you, Sarah,

This is a really beautiful place - the view when we came out of our tent in the morning was stunning and the pitches make the most of it - we had a wonderful time sat around the fire pit listening to the birds and enjoying the peace and tranquility - - Sarah is a great host and gave us details of places to eat - walking trails etc - we will definitely be back

Absolutely beautiful site with incredible views!! Flat, shady, grassy site with firewood. Super peaceful and so many birds! Sarah and Scott were so lovely and welcoming, and checked in to make sure I was ok when a big storm rolled through. Will be visiting again!!

Great spot, close to everything (Beachmere is a lovely area with cafes and shops and a terrific tidal beach which is fun for dogs!) Also cl9se to Bribie, but Scott's land felt nicely far enough away and quiet. Having a shower and a Loo is a real plus for us. And a campfire which sets the scene! Only 40 odd minutes from home meant we were able to get into 'away for the weekend' vibes quickly!! Would recommend Scott's place!

Great trip, so easy to get to from Brisbane so perfect for a Friday getaway. Well maintained spot, was greated by the owners and then had complete privacy for the rest of the time. The nearby creek was pretty but not quite deep enough to cool off however there are many rock pools and waterfalls 5mins up the road at cedar creek. Pups had a great time too. Thank you!

A peaceful spot with gorgeous views! The property is beautifully kept and the hosts are friendly and welcoming, but also give you privacy to enjoy your stay. The creek next to the site is so picturesque and great for a wander and cooling dip of your feet - if you want more of a swim, it’s only a short drive up the road to Cedar Creek Falls. We stayed with a small group of friends and all of our dogs, and had such a relaxing time. We will be back! Thank you Clair and Andrew.

What a beautiful part of the world. Thank you Clair and Andrew for openjng it up for us. Clair and Andrew are amazing hosts. There is nothing to worry about, they have thought of everything. Access is easy, the camping spot beautiful. Truely nature lovers, the farm is great to wander through and the opportunity to enjoy a secluded part of Cedar Creek is very special. We took our doggos and they had the time of their lives. Do yourself a favour and let Clair prepare a fresh vegetable box with eggs. All from the farm. Sigh, it was hard to leave. But luckily it so close to Brisbane well just have to come back.

We had the place to ourselves except for a hand full of permanent stay is that we’re friendly and we’re willing to help when we needed some help. It was peaceful. We just came from Brisbane 40 minutes up the road to have a break from society and go off grid for a little bit. Thank you Scott for shearing you land. .
