Agnes Water Base Camp is a dog-friendly retreat spread over 120 acres of beautiful bushland. The property offers a range of sites set within this scenic natural environment, with more sites continually being created as the regrowth is cleared. While the track around the property currently has some overhanging saplings, it's ideal for walking and exploring, unless you wish to risk scratching your vehicle. This area is a work in progress and is constantly improving. The highlight of the camp is the large, swimmable dam, perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day. The property also boasts approximately 250 fruit trees and is home to Brahma chickens and roosters, adding to the rustic charm. There's a 3-kilometer walking trail for those who love to hike, and you'll find potable water and ample firewood available. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Sunsets at Agnes Water Base Camp are absolutely stunning, with panoramic views of the nearby mountain ranges. When night falls, the starry skies above are nothing short of magnificent, making it an ideal spot for witnessing astrological events reflected in the tranquil waters of the dam. 283 acres of mainly level bush with camping sites in various locations, either in a remote bush or by the water (dams). 6 kms of bushwalking tracks with abundant native wild and bird life. Designated fireplaces and firewood available. All campsites except the Safe Haven are physically separated and reserved for a single group (either travelling alone or in company with others). The Safe Haven can accommodate up to 4 caravans/campers with a communal central fireplace by the water. A seasonal summer stream normally runs through the length of the property from January to May. During this time access to some of the walking trails can be restricted. All sites can be left unattended and secure by visitors for day trips to surrounding areas such as Agnes Water, Seventeen Seventy, the Boyne Valley or various National Parks located within 50klms. Your hosts are always present and ready to assist in any way they can. Dogs welcome. Note: Flushing toilet is located adjacent to the Safe Haven campsite.

From the Marina, you can depart to Lady Musgrave Island, enjoy 1 hr to full day tour on the iconic Larcs and enjoy  spectacular sunsets.The are some must-visit small businesses in the area including Rusty Pelican Fish and Chips, Pancake Creek Tours, Katrina's Bar (for sunset drinks) and Marina Cafe (for best coffee and vanilla slice).There are no facilities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Council's dump point is just 5 minutes away.

Casuarina Park is a 640 acre working property situated 10.3km off the Bruce Highway in Central Queensland between Gladstone and Rockhampton. Camping is a self-sufficient affair with 2 long drop toilets. For small groups of campers we have available a hot shower and septic toilets.There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen as well as a 7km walking/bicycle track available to stretch out weary muscles. For fishing/crabbing enthusiasts it is a 15km 4 wheel drive access to Sandfly boat ramp for fishing and crabbing or 26km for a 2 wheel drive and larger boat to Ramsey's boat ramp located at The Narrows. Excellent fishing!Campfires are permitted with wood included (when restrictions aren't in place). Dogs allowed and must be on leash at all times.SPECIAL EVENTS: During the weekends only of QLD school holidays, we are open for motorbike trail rides. You need to have an MQ license and be part of a motorcycle club (we have our insurance with Motorcycling Queensland). If unsure please ask. This means things are a bit noisier on the weekends of school holidays. :)

Located in the beautiful Agnes Water, we have un-powered sites available for vans and tents, small camper trailers and small camper vans Camping guests are required to be self contained. If needed guest may use bathroom facilities for toilet only. No flushing sanitary things down the toilet. Please no check ins past 6pm. Local wildlife visit the property often early mornings and late afternoon, along with our friendly pets. (please note we do have a rooster). Enjoy a walk around the quiet suburbs or drive 10 minutes to our nearest beaches and enjoy the water year round. The beaches at Agnes Water and 1770 are beautiful and a great place to spend your days. The Eurimbula National Park and Deepwater National Park is within easy reach and accessible for 4WD, loads of beaches to explore, excellent fishing, walking tracks and lookouts everywhere. We welcome well behaved pets which must be discussed prior to arrival and cannot be left alone on the property, unless wanting to arrange pet sitting. All pets must be on leash and supervised. Campfires are welcome during winter time. No big water fill ups here please but welcome for drinking/wash up water etc.

"The Windmill" is set on a 4 acre property which consists of a beuutiful 3 bedroom home set amongst our beautiful gardens, available for guests wanting the creature comforts. This property is host to three permanent residents, an onsite care taker who resides in one building, and the cottage occupied by our onsite massuese, not to mention our community Red dog who is very social......... so pets with the same mentality are very welcome! This property provides our guests local produce grown or sourced from local farmers. Fresh, filterred drinking water can be purchased on site. For our onsite campers........at this stage of the properties development, we ask all to be self contained for sanitary and power needs. The property offers many shaded areas and a beautiful swimming hole to cool off in the warmer months. Here at the windmill we cater for all social events, with the appropriate communication we can organise a day of fun with workshops ranging from blacksmitthing and permiculture, to brethwork and meditation events, to couple retreats.........Bookings are essential, limited space and conditions apply. We look forward to your next stay here at the Windmill!
