Pets allowed but must be on lead to protect our wildlife ☺️ We are in Booral which is minutes away from the barge that goes to K'gari/Fraser island. Minutes away from service station, Foodworks, bottleshop and airport if you might like to take a helicopter ride to see our stunning area from the air. Plenty of take away shops and restaurants to enjoy on your stay. Use of fire pit (if no fire bans are in place) Lovely dam to sit by and enjoy. The property is gated for security. Wake up to the sound of birds and enjoy a relaxing base to discover what Hervey Bay has to offer. We are on 19 acres with goats, chickens, a rooster and cows. Only 10 mins away from K’gari(Fraser Island) barge that leaves from River Heads, and you can leave your van here for a small fee. It is an 8 min drive to the local food works, BP servo, chemist and a 12 min drive for takeaway options. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided. Families are welcome although children must be fully supervised at all times as we do have a very large dam on the property with ducks and turtles. We do not provide water so please make sure you have some before arrival.

Plenty of to camp so your not under each others awnings. Firepits and wood to use. Quiet surrondings. Shane kept us informed that a storm coming in which we didnt know about. Dog freindly - on leash.

Great location and only a short drive to the beach. The camp itself is pretty simple but it’s what we expected when we booked. I would say to avoid this site if you have a low clearance 2WD as we struggled a little bit to get out with our campervan. Overall we would stay again purely for the location 😊

Fantastic Hipcamp! Heaps of grass spots to choose from, free firewood, lots of nature - including fireflies, which we've never seen before. Shane, the host, was great and checked in with us to let us know a storm was coming. Stayed a week, but could easily have stayed for longer.

We absolutely loved our 5 day stay there. Kym was the friendliest lady and her property is a real credit to her. The place was beautifully clean and well kept and we really enjoyed the peace and tranquillity there. We would definitely stay there again
