Fridge BBQ Hot Showers are included in each of the two cabins, also a Queen Bed and Kitchenette. We only allow your booking at one time so it is exclusinve no one else will be there excep you and your group or just your partner. Pets are welcome but not inside the cabins please. There is a concrete Camp fire area in betweene the cabins to enjoy the evening. Please ensure you follow directions to call in advance (24 hrs) to make arrangements. DON'T USE GPS It takes you on the bush tracks. Go 9kl past Kandanga Hotel then go over Doyles Bridge then turn left into Mitchell creek Road. We have a working farm full of animals to enjoy, for the kids to pat and interact with. Jump aboard the 4pm little train to feed the animals. Relaxing by the creek, or take in the great views from the top of the hill, each site has many things to offer. This will be the holiday the kids will want to come back to. Just 17km to the nearest supermarkets, 11 km to fuel and bottleshop for last minute supplies. Amenities include: Flushing Portable toilets just a short walk from your camp. Hot shower in the Outdoor Bush Shower. Attractions close by. * Gympie's Historical Steam train " The Mary Valley Rattler" does trips on Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays. * Historical Theebine Hotel is just 22km away and does a great meal. * Dickabram Bridge is 25km away. It is the oldest remaining large steel truss bridge constructed in Queensland. Or just take a quiet stroll observing the sights and sounds of the natural wildlife. I purchased the farm in 2015 with my children to build a dream, a lifestyle I'm passionate about, one I could share with my family. I was raised on the land and respect and follow sustainable farming practices here on Macallon Farm.

All rooms have a TV and air conditioning. Shared bathroom facilities available nearby. You are welcome to use the BBQ facilities located within the caravan park as well. We have a nearby billabong which has plenty of fish and turtles. Enjoy a meal at the nearby Gundy Pub or explore the surrounding area. Bauple Mountain is 5km away which is a great spot for walking and hiking. Mary River is down the road 4km and a great spot for fishing. The national trail runs along the river and is a great spot for walks or bike rides. We have a number of horse riding camps in the nearby area as well.We have fire drums available and well behaved pets are welcome. The Fishing Hut is located on our working Brahman cattle property. It is completely self contained and perfect for families. It has 3 bedrooms (one queen bed, one king bed, and a kids room with two sets of bunks) all fully air conditioned. The fishing hut sleeps 9 people, any additional guests will have to supply their own bed and bedding. Indoor kitchen including a dishwasher and an outdoor kitchen including a pizza oven and a BBQ. Sit back and enjoy the panoramic views of the Mary River and the surrounding bush land while sitting around the fire pit. We have quite a few local pubs around that are happy to take group bookings if you’d like a night off cooking. Pets are welcome but need to be kept on a leash and contained at all times. Please be respectful of the fact we run cattle and have our own dogs on the property. Your dog must stay in the area in front of The Fishing Hut. No dogs are permitted behind the The Fishing Hut where we have our cattle yards and our own dogs. The property is located in Scotchy Pocket farming district, 25 minutes north of Gympie.
