The farm is home to more than 70 animals (All have names) including dwarf goats, cows, chickens and miniature pigs, and our guests often have the chance to see cute baby animals up close! During the day you can enjoy a walk through the pine forest, and in the afternoon experience the incredible sunset vistas from our hill or from the luxurious outdoor bath. By night, sit by the firepit and gaze up at the stars while listening to the sounds of nature on the fig tree swinging chair. The outdoor bathtub is available for hire for the evening with prior notice, and will come with beautiful dried flowers, natural bath salts charged at $60 per use. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! However if you are bringing your furry companions with you, please ensure they are friendly with other dogs, kept on a lead and supervised at all times, as our baby chickens and miniature pigs like to explore during the day along with my dog who will constantly want to be around. Ready to explore outside the Farm? We’re just a short drive to Eumundi, Pomona or Cooroy for cute shops and markets, or venture 25 minutes to Noosa for a day at the beach and a variety of quality restaurants. I live onsite in another area of the property, but will be available for any questions or help. Tranquil Valley Noosa truly is a magical place to stay – come and enjoy the peace and serenity for yourself! The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal. “We have been blessed beyond measure with a small slice of God’s wonderful creation that we would love to share with you.”

Tucked away on a small hobby farm backing directly onto Sheep Station Conservation Park, this is a peaceful, no-frills spot for guests who enjoy the simple things in life. You’ll be sharing the property with four sheep, three silky chickens, two cheeky geese, and a friendly alpaca — plus our three young boys. There is a bathroom (cold water only) and small kitchenette available up at the "shed". A fire pit is available for your use, with plenty of firewood available. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash due to the farm animals and surrounding conservation area. Please make sure you always shut the gate when coming and going to prevent our sheep wondering off the farm. Please note that the dam is more for scenery than swimming.

A beautiful grassy paddock with shady trees, amazing scenery and a night sky to die for. Its fenced off from the farm and is only 2km from Godwin beach, 1k from Sandstone Lakes and just a short drives from Sandstone point hotel and Bribie island. If you like the farm life there is plenty of cattle, or chickens and horses to check out. There is plenty of activities to do such as; fishing, walking tracks, shopping centers and more.

I think this is the perfect camping spot, either for a romantic getaway with your partner or for a solo camping trip. I can’t think of a better place to have a beautiful, romantic picnic while watching the sunset. The views are stunning, it’s an easy drive to get there, the host, Tommy, is really welcoming, and it’s nice to meet the person behind such a beautiful project. Trees, goats, cows, birds, an outdoor bath, a romantic picnic, a beautiful sunset, loo/shower with a view, stargazing. It has everything!! I had an extremely joyful and peaceful experience.

We had a truly peaceful three-day stay in the most beautiful, tranquil setting. I stayed here with my teenage kids and we all loved it, but honestly, this place would be perfect for a romantic getaway. The views are absolutely stunning…even the toilet had spectacular scenery, which says it all! The outdoor shower was a real highlight, feeling completely immersed in nature while still being very comfortable and private. The animals added so much joy to our stay. The goats were hilarious and full of personality, the chickens and guinea pigs were a delight, and of course Max the dog completely stole our hearts and kept us entertained the entire time. This is the kind of place where you instantly slow down, breathe deeper, and feel grateful to be there. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming about coming back — next time, just the adults 💛

Great place, stayed for five nights as this was our second time, lovely big swimming dam with a board jump, kids would love it, there is little running creek, more so when rain has been, very pieceful, a few marsh flies, Jacinta and jason are lovely. We will be back.

Sensational as usual. Place to myself, creek was running, water was cold on those hot days and storms at night. Too hot to do the hikes but I was content with sitting under the little fig tree reading and swimming the day away.
