Our peaceful macadamia farm sits in the Eltham Valley along Pearces Creek. We are located 18 mins from Ballina and 7 mins from Alstonville & Clunes , The Clunes Village cafe is not to be missed & of course the Iconic Eltham pub is only 4 mins away by car. The pub can also be accessed by a courtesy bus from our doorstep ( please reconfirm this with the Pub directly - subject to availability ) . A large fire pit area along the creek edge leaves you warm on those cooler nights . Please add the extra firewood bundle and we will have it prepared before your arrival. Pitch your tent or drive your 4WD right up to our running creek that features lovely swimming holes, rock pools and large shady trees. This area is great to watch the sunset over the macadamia orchard or sit by the campfire at night. This campsite is set in a very private location on our 26 acre property. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. There is access to a picnic table for meals. We recommend 4WDs to access this campsite, and caravans and camper trailers are ok. If you're unsure about your vehicle please message us. Dogs are welcome and love the open space.

Bindarah Downs offers easy access to our 4 acres and 3 levels of open and shaded, creek frontage. Only 15 mins from Rathdowney, close to Maroon Dam and several National Parks. Each site accommodates one set-up; e.g. one caravan, one motorhome, one camper trailer etc. Please make a separate booking if you have multiple camping set-ups. The creek offers campers cool waterholes to swim in on a hot day and picnic tables to enjoy your meals. Hang your hammock, lay back and enjoy the tranquil setting and cool breeze while the kids ride their bikes. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Children 16 and under stay for free but please let us know they are coming. Campfires are welcome but must be kept contained, you can help yourself to any fallen timber on the ground but please do not cut any trees. Pets are welcome but must be kept restrained at night and must not disturb any of the wildlife or livestock. Set on 180acres, stunning views of Mt. Lindesay, Mt. Gillies and surrounding area. On a lush 286 acres backing onto Border Ranges National Park, we are surrounded by 3kms of creek with flowing slopes and beautiful sunset views of Mt Lindesay. For campers we are focusing on around 30 acres and spots close to Sawpit Creek would be ideal to set up camp. Bring your tent, swag or caravan and park up next to our beautiful Sawpit creek. Perfect for a swim! Currently there's a picnic table and some seating areas. We will be building a compost toilet and large BBQ area soon! Drinking water is available, and at the moment we are welcoming only self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. Your pet is welcome to camp with you. Our property backs onto Border Ranges National Park! And you can see Mt Lindesay from our property, so bring your camera! It's 15 min to Wiangaree and 35 min to Kyogle. The camping area is 2WD accessible but you will have to cross some creeks. You should be ok in the 2WD as the creek crossing has a small incline and decline. We welcome caravans, campervans and camper-trailers/ tents. You may see us pass by the camping area from time to time. We are a friendly as 😊 and invite you to have a coffee or beer with us. There's no internet by the creek but you're more than welcome to connect to the wifi at our shack up the hill. No campfires please.

We loved our two night stay at Bindarah downs. The grassy sites are well set apart from other campers, ample shade and good access to the creek. We enjoyed a stroll through the farm to see the dam. We will definitely be back.

Great little get away. Love that there was water in the creek and the dogs could cool off. Ample space between campers and lots of places to walk around the property. We visited Mt. Barney which was a short drive. Highly recommend this space and Shayne is a great host and was very welcoming.

Bindarah Downs is a lovely, quiet, rural setting perfect for our family camping trip. Shayne was very helpful and accommodating- great directions, explanations of the farm animals and walks and local area. Only a 15-20 min drive to Mt Barney NP hikes (including Lower Portals swimming hole). We camped right by the creek, which was running with beautiful clear water. No mozzies. Grounds well maintained. No toilets, so you need to be fully self contained.

Shayne & Kim are incredibly welcoming hosts. The property is beautifully maintained and surrounded by a creek. Plenty of trees alongside the camping area to provide shade. Bags of firewood available are for sale to use in the many fire pits. Don’t forget to bring the carrots or Weet Bix for a treat for the horses. They love to come and say hi at the fence. We will definitely be back!

This campsite was exactly what I was hoping for. It was quiet and peaceful, with a lovely creek nearby that made it feel really relaxing. The campsites were very clean and well cared for, which made our stay even better. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they made us feel comfortable right away. I’d definitely recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a calm, enjoyable place to stay.

We loved our time at Bindarah Downs. We were welcomed by Shayne and had a nice chat. The property was freshly mowed and well prepared for us. The surrounding creek was lovely to cool off in. We met some of the horses and they were given a Weet Bix treat and a scratch. It reached 36 degrees but sitting under the huge trees kept us comfortably cool. Fire wood for sale on site is a bonus too. Will definitely be back!

Silky oak flat is absolutely the best Hipcamp I’ve been to. It’s a large flat site with shade and right bedside the running creek where you can just sit on the rocks and let the water splash over you or swim in the deeper swimming holes the water is crystal clear and very refreshing, I loved to sit and watch the turtles swimming. Bryce is very friendly and accommodating with the firewood. Can’t wait to get back there in the near future
