    Self sufficient Granny flat on 2.5 acres. l bedroom with Queen size bed, bunks can be arranged if required. Granny flat is surrounded by privacy from Main house. Own water and Electricity Internet No entry permitted to back yard of main house. Free Range Chickens on-site, free-range eggs for free while staying on property, when chooks are laying. All dogs must be on a lead at all times. 2 older large dogs on property, non-aggressive with humans or other animals. There are chooks, ducks and guinea pigs, on site. Caravans, RVs etc welcome to stay in granny flat or just hook up their transport to electricity and water.     Logan Park Farm is an historic 4th generation family farm with beef cattle and cropping set on the Logan River with beautiful surroundings in the Scenic Rim. The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property. "Murphy's" is a newly renovated three bedroom cottage which was once part of Tamrookum Homestead built by Robert Collins and family in the 1860s. In the early 1930s the homestead was taken apart and six homes were built from it including "Murphy's". In 2020 the Murphy family of Rob, Libby, Ben and Cameron, still living on the property in the current homestead across the road, decided to renovate the cottage. It is now a lovely reincarnation of times gone by with a flourish of modern amenities, including indoor dining with modern kitchen appointments, outdoor dining and barbecue, full laundry and comfortable bathroom.Beautiful sunsets, mountain views, birds and quiet surroundings. Milford Country Cottages has two accommodation options, Rose Cottage, and Bottle Tree Cottage, plus hectares of land to explore. Great for a romantic weekend for couples. Ideal for families (2 adults, 2 children). Each cottage has been carefully decorated and each has its own character to make you feel at home whilst enjoying a country escape. Both cottages are fully self-contained with all amenities available, including all bed and bathroom linen. They are fully air-conditioned for your comfort and feature two bedrooms: one with a queen-sized bed and the other with twin singles. We also have disabled access at our Rose Cottage with a wheelchair access ramp and widened doorways. Each cottage has parking adjacent to them for easy access and convenience. Activities include hiking, swimming, canoeing, horse riding and more. You can bring your own tent, caravan, motorhome or stay in bunkhouse that sleeps 10 with shower. From many parts of the farm you have a beautiful views encompassing Malenny, Glasshouse Mountains , Bribie island, Moreton Island, Stradbroke Island, Redcliffe and Brisbane Port Site. We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming, canoeing. The property is traversed by a number of rain forested creeks and ravines which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

The cabin is situated privately on our hobby farm with the company of cows, chickens, dogs and ponies, dogs are permitted upon request. The cabin is cosy and self contained, it is a single bedroom, single bathroom, with walk in shower, toilet and filtered drinking water at the vanity sink.
