Come and visit us and enjoy everything the Fraser Coast has to offer. You will feel like you really are on holidays. Located at River Heads, a great getaway from it all, yet just a stones throw from K'gari (Fraser Island), Hervey Bay and Lady Elliot Island. We are dog friendly and also wheelchair accessible in the Bush Kitchen and Wallaby Wash House. Bertha the Retro van and Gertrude the Gypsy Wagon are not wheelchair accessible. Mango Lodge is a totally wheelchair accessible timber cabin which has an outdoor bath. 24 hour security access to your own private campsite. Free wifi, hot showers, flushing toilets, fully equipped bush kitchen and laundry. We have a designated area for dog lovers called Dogs Corner. There is a lovely paddock for the dogs to take in the country atmosphere and located right next to the 40 acre nature reserve with 4kms of walking trails, what better way to Escape, Relax and Unwind. 69 species of birds have been identified on the property to date. We also provide dog minding services! Photo updates supplied. Cost is $50 per day (add to your booking). All you need to do is supply your dog bed and food. Recently our guests enjoyed a trip to Fraser Island and were very impressed with the service provided. So if you love your fur baby and you still want to have a holiday experience, just come and stay here and we can enhance your stay by giving your fur babies a holiday too. You may be moved to a different site if your chosen site is too wet. We use Good Riddance products for the midges & mozzies during summer because it works, its non toxic + deet free. We have dry firewood (hardwood) available on the verandah for $15/15kg crate. There are plenty of sites to choose from. One vehicle = 1 site - more than 1 vehicle can fit on any of the sites.

It is a short drive to the historical town of Maryborough 12mins for supply's and then down to Herveybay for coffees on the esplanade .The land is just a vacant block and you will need to be fully self serficant. Great location and only a short drive to the beach. The camp itself is pretty simple but it’s what we expected when we booked. I would say to avoid this site if you have a low clearance 2WD as we struggled a little bit to get out with our campervan. Overall we would stay again purely for the location 😊

Great amenities, nice camping spot with power and water hook up or camp off grid in a secluded spot away from everyone. Midgies are bad so come prepared. They fit through your flyscreens and will eat you alive if you're not covered up. All in all we had a great holiday.

We stayed at trip in a van corner and had a great nights sleep. We had plenty of space and it was very peaceful and could listen to the birds. We also saw kangaroos racing around the neighbouring property which was great. The amenities were SPOTLESS and crafted with care and attention. The whole property had heaps of personality and interesting features. We only stayed for a night as we were passing through but would definitely stay again if we are back in hervey bay.

Great location as its close to a great local Cafe (River Heads cafe and takeaway - 4min drive) and Hervey Bay just up the road. Mark, the caretaker met us on arrival and was very friendly and welcoming. Great spot all round.
