This campsite is absolutely incredible. The scenery is beautiful, with private access to the mountain and trails that are perfect for exploring. The creek is stunning and easily one of our favorite parts of the stay. I had read a few previous reviews mentioning that accessing the creek was quite difficult, but that wasn’t our experience at all. We had our daughter and dog with us, and we found it very easy and safe to get down to the water. The facilities honestly blew us away… wow for a campsite! There’s a kitchenette, clean bathrooms, hot showers, and pretty much everything you could possibly need. It felt more like a retreat than a typical campground. The grounds themselves are beautifully maintained, and the host was incredibly welcoming and friendly. A special highlight was the kookaburras. You can feed them, and the hosts even provide the food, which was such a unique and memorable experience. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special camping experience.

This our 4th visit to Wynola and won’t be our last. Great spacious sites with heaps of privacy. Long Crossing has a good size swimming hole and heaps of space to float around in. With each visit we have been lucky enough to spot the platypus which is a bonus! Killarney a short 10min drive if needed. Thanks again Bernie. 🙏

A true hidden gem. If you want to disconnect for a while, enjoy beautiful scenery and wildlife this is the place. Gorgeous site, well kept, great modern facilities including a lovely big open deck our lounge area. Rain or shine, bases are covered. The kids are sure to love feeding the kookaburra's in the morning or evening, swimming in the waterhole to cool off, reading in the tree-top hammock or kicking the ball on the lovely green grass. Our dog came home exhausted from swimming, bush walking, rock hopping and playing with our kid. Can't go wrong.

The red cabin was really a hidden gem. The room was very tidy, although the kitchen and bath were outside, they were still well maintained. The location was easy to find, we were able to enjoy our privacy and still get a stunning view. I especially enjoyed the creek near the site, there were no midges, and the water was clear and peaceful. Will visit again, highly recommended.

We started out at Long Crossing, but, thanks to the kindness of Bernie, changed to Silky Oak (the road was just a little too close for our personal preference at Long Crossing). Silky Oak was a beautiful campsite! Wildflowers everywhere and the river so close. Very green and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thanks Bernie and Jo.

The views from the summit were absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of the surrounding landscape. The campsite itself was well-maintained and provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Our neighbors (birds and lizards) were respectful, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout our visit. This was a fantastic campground and experience. Vili is a wonderful host who even gave us the opportunity to feed the kookaburras as well as tell us some history of the land. I highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a serene, peaceful getaway. We did the walk to the waterfalls (about 2 hours return but give yourself 3) directly from the property. Its a steep climb up but was well marked with strong around the trees to show you the way. The facilities were super clean and all the wildlife really added to the experience. Thank you Vili for a wonderful stay and break from the city.

Beautiful views of the mountains and the river. The Condamine River is a clean flowing gem where it passes through this property and we had glimpses of platypus each evening. Heard a Koala at night but did not spot him. Colourful parrots to see and bell birds, whip birds and magpies songs to hear - so relaxing.
