We are located in the '14 river crossings' Cambanoora Gorge, just 2.5 hrs from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This 1500 acre working cattle and horse property offers a variety of completely private, riverside campsites. * 4WD access only. Suitable for fully self-contained camper trailers, and high clearance, four-wheel-drive camping outfits. * Note Campers must be self-contained and bring their own camping toilet. (No holes in the ground, must be a chemical toilet where you take your waste with you). * We are dog-friendly but they must be cattle, horse and wildlife-friendly. You can BYO horse for $12 per horse per day, and keep it in our secure yards. You are welcome to explore the Cambanoora Gorge (it's part of the national trail) and/or our property on your horse. Wynola Country Cousin Yellow Jacket

We had a great stay at Wynola Country Cousins - Yellow Jacket site. The site was really well maintained with a beautiful grass clearing and massive stone fire pit with log seat. There is walking tracks down to the creek which is a lovely spot to sit and relax under the trees. Plenty to see and do in surrounding areas. We would highly recommend and would love to come back. Dolly’s view was very private and was so stunning. Had access to the creek aswell and a great fire pit! The hosts are very welcoming and helpful aswell!

Campsite Name: Wynola country Cousin Site: platypus Reach Location: Killarney Date of Stay: 14th Feb to 16 Feb 2025 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 Out of 5) Review: I recently stayed at Platypis Reach and had a great experience. The campsite is located next to condamin creek in mountain area, making it a great spot for walks relaxation and swimming. Pros: Clean and well-maintained camp site Spacious and private campsites Beautiful scenery and great trails Friendly and helpful owners Cons: You need to bing your own toilet Limited cell service Overall, I would recommend this campsite, especially for families. It’s a great place for relaxing and an amazing outdoor experience.

Wynola Country Cousins - Horse Camp

We stayed at the old homestead site with a horse and 2 dogs. The horse paddock was great - large with very secure fencing and automatic trough. All camp sites are spread out so you can only really catch a glimpse of anyone else. Rode for 2hrs one day and 1hr the next - perfect combo of water crossings, hills, valleys and grassy flats. The doggos loved their walks to the river for a play and all the sniffs! The abundant bird life was great to wake up to and spot through the day. A beautiful spot that we will be returning to!
