If your heart beats to the vibrant drum of the Southern Highlands but you want the space and freedom of camping on a great river, then Wings of the Carribee is for you. Two campsites share 20 Acres of cottonwood trees on the Wingecarribee river. They are 250m apart and both on the riverfront giving you the seclusion you need while allowing you access to all that the Highlands have to offer. Bring your fishing rod and yabbie net, sit at the large picnic table, rent a kayak and go for a paddle, come say hello to the miniature Hereford cattle and enjoy the half drum fire pit while watching the cows grazing across the river. If you are bringing dog(s) then they must be on a lead or consider Yabbie which is enclosed. Of course you will be tempted to explore the area. Wings sits directly between Bowral and Moss Vale (both are less than 5km away) and is 14 km from historic Berrima so you can leave the camper and head into town to enjoy the old world charm of the area. The Southern Highlands is ideal if you’re wanting to escape Sydney (100km) or Canberra (160km) without lengthy travel. We are a family of 4 with 2 school aged boys. We have travelled extensively around Australia and are familiar with the caravanning lifestyle. Pitch your self contained camper or caravan in our secluded garden in Bundanoon. We are only 0.5 acre but there is plenty of space for kids and well behaved dogs. Depending on the size of your set up and rainfall you will either be on grass at the back of our garden with moderate privacy or at the front of the house on gravel - not as much privacy. We have a fire pit, (firewood available) and the garden is child and dog friendly. We hand feed the wild king parrots and our resident blue tongue lizard, named Bluey! Hook up to water and power and you can manually empty cassettes. Wifi is available but can be unreliable. Bundanoon village is only 1.4kms away. The pub is even closer! Moreton National park is only 2.5kms away and we are familiar with the walks there. We will mostly be around if you need us and are more than happy to recommend places to visit and eat. I can also offer wholesome home cooked meals or meal hampers - please message me ahead of time to enquire / arrange. Bundanoon has a small IGA, several restaurants (including a decent Thai and Italian), pharmacy, post office, newsagent, multiple cafes and various shops.

We were amazed at the design of Bowery Dome it sits on high deck with nice view,inside dome with comfy bed and spacious room,its very comfortable for family with young kids. At night kids roasted marshmallows and watched the beautiful of starry sky… We definitely recommending this place.

Had a great stay at Yabie corner.Beautiful spot to stay with the grandkids. They loved the kayaks and catching yabies. The cows were a highlight. Kids loved them and they where very friendly even with the dogs.The hosts and his family great. Would highly recommend this camp.

This was truly a stunning stay. The views accross the water and the sounds of so many different bird life. the area was fenced off so I felt totally safe letting the pups run freely. Vallance was such an accomodating host who even on a Friday afternoon came down to help me out of a pickle I had gotten mysleft into. Such a gentleman. and if your lucky enough you might even get lucky with some free range eggs. A beautiful spot. I will re visit one day soon.

Wonderful experience and many thanks to Vallance and his lovely wife Nikki. Made us feel very welcome and enjoyed a lovely chat around the fire pit on the river. Wonderful property with two sites, a distance apart. 5 friendly cow visited us every morning. Dog friendly, easy access for 2 wheel motor home and well maintained and mowed sites. Will definitely return as Bowral as it is only a short drive away with many heritage homes and shops including the Don Bradman oval and museum. Worth a visit. Would recommend this camp and will return. Thanks Vallance!!

What a picturesque spot to camp! We loved being able to have our dog with us and the fencing meant she could sniff around and not stray far from camp. My kids enjoyed being able to hang around the campfire at the same time as fishing. Vallance even loaned us a yabby trap for my son to use. We would love to come back one day.

The photos look great and it is better in the flesh. Super close to Bowral, great directions and easy to find the campsite in the dark. Host was very communicative and friendly. The site is very private (except for the cows on the other side of the creek!) and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Exactly what we were looking for.
