Liberty Plains offers bush camping for self contained campers. There is one toilet available, a portable toilet (if the toilet runs out of soap/paper etc you will need to supply your own. The property offers a large dam for kayaking, fishing, yabbying. There is also bush walking. There is a small common area/ shed available with a bbq for guests to use and a table. There is also a shower and toilet available near the main house shed for a donation in the donation box to cover water and gas. If exploring please do not go through any fences as you may end up on a neighbors property. Guests may camp as close or far away from the main dam as they like, camp sites are first in first served. Pets allowed if kept under control, firewood is permitted to be used from the ground only no felling of standing trees, you may have a fire on the ground. Please find your own way to camp by following your map that will be sent to you on booking and the signs that are posted from the driveway on after you turn in the main entrance, no need to meet and greet with host although I may come around occasionally to see if everything is going alright.

Amongst the rows of fruit trees is a small block of eucalypts and three dams, one of which is quite large and suitable for swimming, paddling and fishing in. Dawn and dusk brings a variety of birds and kangaroos and skies painted in colour. In summer and autumn you can pick your own fruit. Campers are welcome to utilise the kayak on offer all year round (life jackets provided). Dunollie Ridge is situated on a 100 acre cattle and sheep property 10mins South West of Mudgee. With one of Mudgee's most popular wineries only minutes away, you can walk, ride or drive and be amongst the action in minutes. Our camp site suits self-contained guests who have everything they need and leave no footprint on departure. You may need to share the camp ground with our friendly sheep (and cute baby lambs), therefore dogs are not ideal, however may be considered on a case by case basis. Some firewood is available however please refer to the local RFS guidelines at the time of your stay to ensure you are allowed to have a fire. The campground is available for one set of campers at a time however if you are part of a group we will accept bookings for up to four vans. The Tiny House is fully self-contained with a fold out double bed and a little kitchenette featuring a fridge, cookware and utensils and a BBQ. The bathroom/laundry are separate. You're welcome to go for a swim in the dam which is a short walk away, or take a stroll to the top of the rocky hill to see 360 degree views. We live on a beautiful mixed farming property based just 10km off Newell Highway from Tomingley. We have plenty of wide open spaces for campers to choose where to set up camp. Campers will enjoy the wildlife, beautiful natural creeks, waterways, and big open skies at night. Set up in the safety of our farm gates. Furry family members are welcome but we ask they please remain leashed at all times. So much to enjoy whilst marveling at the beauty of nature.

We are located 5 minutes from the Burrendong Arboretum, only 7 minutes from Lake Burrendong where you can try your hand at activiites such as fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and much more. If you book one of our bell tent sites you can select to get a free access card to Lake Burrendong which lets you enter the Park as many times as you like totally free. If you don't mind a little drive we are only 1/2 an hour from the iconic Wellington Caves, 1 hour from Dubbo and Orange where you can visit wonderful attractions such as the Dubbo Western Plains Zoo, Old Dubbo Gaol, Orange Ophir Gold Mine, 1.5 hours from beautiful Mudgee wineries and much much more. There are plenty of tourist activities which surround our beautiful property that you can visit, that is if you wish to leave the serenity of Stockyard.

A tranquil 85 acre property with multiple options for your stay, along the banks of the Talbragar River or by wooded areas bordering the beautiful Scrubby Creek. The sites are self-service with no amenities currently available, so best suited to those happy to be self-sufficient and with a 'leave no trace' approach. All sites offer bushwalking options (maps can be provided via email), an abundance of native flora and fauna including wild birds, the occasional echidna and wombats. You'll also find sheep and cattle meandering around the paddocks, along with our horses and free ranging peacock. We also have a super friendly kelpie and dachshund pup making the farm feel complete. Dogs are welcome &; we have stables or individual paddocks available if you'd like to bring your equine friends (no riding on the property due to insurance). Closest hip camp to Dubbo township and Zoo. 5 to 7 kms to Zoo and Town centre. 5 minute drive to the Zoo. 5kms to 27 hole golf course. 3 kms to Delroy Park Shopping centre. Some days you can hear the lions and monkeys from the zoo Lots of Kangaroos on site. Lots of Birdlife ( Eastern Rosellas , Grass Parrots, Willy Wag Tails, Kestrals , Currawongs, Quail , Kookaburras, Magpies , Blue wrens etc). Land was previously a sheep station but nature is slowly reclaiming it. We have been here six years and have seen hundreds of native trees come back through not overgrazing and fencing off bushland. Dry sandy creek bed (good for kids to explore) , except during floods. Lots of shady gumtrees. 2km grassy walk around fence line for those looking to exercise during their stay.
