Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen. We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehicle traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

We are located just south of the Mogo township on the NSW south coast, in prime position for mountain biking fanatics as the Maulbrooks Mountain Bike Park and Mogo State Forest are just to our west. We are 5 mins from the New MOGO MTB trails! On hot days you can grab your swimmers, snorkel and surfboard, and head down to a number of beaches at Tomakin and Broulee (15 mins from camp). When exploring the region, don't forget to stop in at the famous township of Mogo. This gorgeous village offers a quirky mix of art, crafts, homewares and collectibles, as well as fantastic food, clothing, specialty items, and well known favourites like Mogo Fudge or some marshmallows to toast on the campfire. The campsite is nestled amongst the tall gum trees and overlooks the dam. There is a firepit with a hot plate for delicious camp out dinners and firewood is available for sale under Extras. There is access to a toilet and rubbish facilities, but you will need to bring your own drinking water and shower. We can cater for all types of camping vehicles and tents, including 2WD. The campsite is generally flat but your vehicle may require a little levelling. We welcome well behaved pets (we have dogs ourselves so your pet must be friendly).

Conveniently located off the Princes Hwy, a few minutes from the quiant village of Mogo, just five minutes from the beautiful Broulee Beaches and boat ramp, and less than 10 minutes drive from the township of Moruya, this farmstay provides a convenient and relaxing base to explore this wonderful South Coast region. The farm covers some 600+ acres, mostly untouched bushland. We have over 50 head of cattle, several Clydesdales, a donkey, chooks, peacocks, guinea fowl, rabbits, and more. You are welcome to explore the paddocks and the bushland and meet and greet our animal residents. Dogs are welcome, so long as they're kept under control, and restrained at night. There is a large shared swimming pool guests are welcome to use. Campfires are permitted in the designated fire pits, or you are welcome to bring your own fire pit that is elevated off the ground. Firewood is available to purchase - see extras. We offer two sites for self-contained campers, and for a slightly higher price, one site that allows campers access to the toilet and hot shower facilities. All campers must be completely self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and take all waste when they go. The original name of this property is Wooraba which is an aboriginal word for 'hidden' which describes it very well. Here, you will immerse yourself in the Australian bush and enjoy a truly peaceful retreat. Enjoy fantastic bushwalks amongst the native flora and fauna, or take your mountain bike to the high open hilly area to check out the expansive views. Or lay in some of the creek's rock pools and sunbathe. Whilst we can accept dogs, this absolutely must be discussed with us prior to booking. We are a working farm, with sheep, and it is important that any visiting pets do not hassle our sheep, and are kept on a lead at all times. Campfires are permitted in the designated fire pit when conditions allow and no local fire bans are in play.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay on Spring Creek Farm. Bill was a great host and guided us to our site on arrival. Peaceful spot with panoramic views of the country side, out in the open but private. Lots of firewood around and we caught a glimpse of the resident wombat.

Excellent spot, great access to town but feels very seperate. Avoid setting up next to the fire pit for a while as there’s a decaying kangaroo in the creek behind the side that wafts through there, moved to other side for second night and it was excellent. Will absolutely stay again

Very close to Batemans Bay, Mogo, Broulee, and Tomakin, for all your coastal needs. Was lovely to be able to have our 3 dogs off lead. Will definitely be back.

We loved being off the beaten track at Bill’s hipcamp site! The nature is stunning, we saw wedge-tail eagles, king parrots, cockatoos, kangaroos and lots of wombat burrows, unfortunately didn’t get the chance to go spotlighting at night to see a wombat due to the weather being surprisingly cold and windy. Next time we will bring warmer clothes in summer! The waterfall near upper creekside site is stunning, would be great to come after a big downpour. The sheep were very vocal but we loved the sounds! All round a great stay.

An amazing place to camp overall. We were greeted by Bill and taken to a site sheltered from the strong winds. We got woken up by sheep as they were passing by in the mornings - they would get super close and were nice little friends to have around. The site was very private and isolated itself. There was some phone reception - just enough to send a quick text message. You get lots of space on this one all to yourself. We had a great time. Thank you Bill & family.

Fantastic spot! It was really nice to find a spot away from overcrowded camp grounds. This spot is perfect if you’re looking for a place where it’s just you/your group and nature! The grounds were clean and well maintained and having the dam close by was awesome for the kids and dogs. Being dog friendly and off leash meant our pooches could have a nice holiday too! The onsite toilet, fire pit and table/benches made things easy. Hosts Sarah and Tom were great to deal with, communication was easy and we all had a blast. Would recommend to anyone camping withe family/friends especially those who want to bring their dogs. We will be back!

Great campsite! Greeted by host and shown to our site, beautiful panoramic views. Thunderstorm rolled in as we arrived, which added to the excitement. Great creek close by to cool off in on a hot day. Excellent for overnight escape from Canberra. Good solid firewood was provided as well, which kept us going the whole night. Well recommended.

We loved our stay. The site is terrific – very large and very private- we specifically chose it because we knew we were going to be the only campers there.. We felt like we were in the middle of the bush far away from everything. It was a real bonus to be able to have our dog with us. Tom and Sarah are excellent hosts – friendly, helpful, very hospitable. We will definitely be back again.
