FULLY BOOKED *XMAS 2024* 27/12/2024 to 2/1/2025 CLOSED AUSTRALIA DAY W/END Beautiful property, nestled into the Colo Valley, next to the pristine Colo River. We have cleared grassy paddocks, some shady areas, and access to the Colo River, one of the most pristine rivers in NSW. Our river access is normally shallow, well suited to young families or those who just want to lay back and enjoy a quiet refreshing dip. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing are provided free of charge along with bird watching, local wildlife, and horses in surrounding paddocks. We offer limited sites to comply with NSW Camping legislation and Hipcamp guidelines and to enable campers to experience the Colo as it should be, listening to the beautiful wildlife and really appreciating the outdoors. Sites are large spaces with varying distance between sites to enable you to enjoy the camping experience in your own space. Both paddock sites and limited river spots are available. If you are planning to stay with friends and you wish to share a site only 1 booking is required, the sites are large, some up to 30m x 30m. (Saturday night 2 night minimum) Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, please check with Hosts prior to booking, as conditions and a charge applies. Please ADD EXTRA at checkout for dogs... $20 per dog per visit There is no mobile reception or internet access, therefore, providing a true off-grid retreat. Self-sufficient campers are preferred. There are fire drums available on each site, most with grill plates - subject to RFS bush fire danger ratings on the day. There are three communal flushing toilets and two awesome hot water showers! ALL waste is to leave with you! There are local bush walks through National Parks and great places for mountain bike riding although be mindful of holiday traffic in peak times on our local dirt roads. The local shop, Colo Riverside is open 4 days a week Thurs-Sun, just 10kms up the road providing last-minute supplies, ice, bottle shop, and cafe services. Please note: Due to our location bookings may be canceled at short notice in times of bad weather due to flooding, limited access, fire or flood warnings. We trust you will understand we are only looking out for your safety and of course, Hipcamp credits will be arranged.

Other must-see's in the area include the Olney State Forest and the Wattagan National Park.The property is located just off a scenic drive, over a 2wd accessible creek crossing. Please note: There is a 2 .5 tonne limit on the road and bridge entering the property. Due to the small size of the bridge, the even weight distribution between cars and small trailers of 2 tonne or less are permitted. Due to the location and the calm nature of the surrounding areas Arcadia is not a party venue. It is an oasis of peace and tranquility and a wild life reserve . Although, it is a family oriented property, we also welcome couples and small groups, for those who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and come back to nature. Guests can enjoy large mowed areas for recreation, they have use of a large undercover hall, there is a great campfire area with some firewood provided ( extra can be collected). Guests have use of the 3 buildings in this area which are Hall area, BBQ kitchen and bathrooms. There is a designated area for pitching tents or camp trailers. Guests have direct access for swimming to Webbs Creek this area is a shared area. Camp Bunya is a private campsite for group bookings. We offer our site to guests who want privacy and seclusion, enjoy the great outdoors and choose to make a little extra noise without upsetting the neighbours. Water access for swimming is available at your own beach. Toilets and shower amenities are provided. There is no power or cooking facilities, however a BBQ can be provided for hire. The campsite features mowed areas for camping with a large undercover area with a fireplace.

We are the 1st property on a shared driveway but can't hear and rarely see the neighbours. The Tinyhome itself offers a spa bath on the deck, air-conditioning, a firepit area outside with as much firewood as you need, a comfy queen bed, a kitchen with microwave, gas cooktop, Webber BBQ (outside), pots pans, etc, and two bar fridges. The bathroom has instant gas hot water, a shower, and a compost toilet which is emptied after each stay and is simple to use. We have friendly farm animals which includes our 4 mini donkeys that love to say hello to our guests. Cafe 3 3-minute drive down the road, and restaurants 15 to 20 minutes drive away You are away from the hustle and bustle but not too far if you need anything. We are only a phone call away to help as well with anything you need. Only been operating since January 2023 the feedback and reviews have been amazing and we are determined you have the best stay possible. Don't wait any longer come get away and stay with us.

An amazing place to watch and listen to the wildlife and take in the stars with so much more to discover. Caravan is equipped with: * a small solar setup to power some lights and USB chargers. * Kitchenette * Double bed (and optional fold down single bed) * Gas Fridge * 2 Burner gas stove * Fire pit A short walk away there are flushing toilets and an awesome hot water shower. No power available on site. No generators or loud music/behavior so you can fully appreciate nature. There is no mobile reception or internet access therefore provides the true off-grid retreat. Telstra towers are 5km up and down the road with all mobile reception approx 10km back towards town. There is a fire pit available for use subject to RFS bush fire danger ratings on the day. Firewood is available to purchase at $30 per BIG bag!! ALL WASTE is to leave with you as we do not have a rubbish pick up. A double kayak is available for hire at $70 or stand-up paddle boards at $40 each both for 4 hours. We are happy to help transport you if you wish for an extra $20 to have a paddle or float down the river providing the river is high enough to do so. Guided Kayak Tour available with drinks and nibblies for $120/person with Lovie There are local bush walks through National Parks and great places for mountain bike riding although I'd be mindful of holiday traffic in peak times on our local dirt roads.
