There is plenty of space & places to walk within property with family or mates and take in the natural beauty while looking out for birdlife, wildlife and star gazing at night along with the very best sunsets on Birubi beach to savor your day. Noonameena is a beautiful retreat that feels secluded from the world, yet is just a stones throw from shops, beach, good food and parklands. We offer a number of grassy, level sites, some with shade, others with sun, all with bushland to the rear. There is also a pond/dam area, and lots of wildlife. We have a fire pit for communal use (subject to fire bans and weather conditions). The kangaroos will come and visit you early in the morning, and in the evening. You will also see lots of different parrots and birds. We even have goannas and echidnas about and the black cockatoos will come in for a visit. You will need to bring your own camp toilet, as we don't have facilities here. Pets are welcome but please keep them on a lead at all times as we have lots of wildlife around! Please note, when we have heavy rain, the ground can get boggy. We are very mindful to keep tabs on the weather for our guests, and will be in good communication with you in the lead up to your stay should we suspect there to be any issues. Whilst camping by the beautiful dam is lovely in fine weather, when it's raining, it’s best to camp towards the front of the property on higher ground. We'll advise the best solution in these circumstances. LET US KNOW about your preferred booking even if it appears booked out, as we can probably make it work or have ALTERNATIVE solutions for you! Our property is located at One Mile Beach in Port Stephens, we are on 1 acre of land and are only offering 1 site so you will have plenty of privacy. Our property is child friendly with access to our large cubby house and trampoline available. We have two friendly, placid dogs on the property and we welcome other friendly pets to the property. We are close to plenty of wonderful attractions, activities including, Quad Biking, Koala Sanctuary, Camel Rides, Sting Ray Centre and 4WD on Birubi Beach (permit required). We are a 10 minute drive from Tomaree National Park which has plenty of beautiful walks including the summit of Mt Tomaree walk. One Mile Beach is a stunning beach which is perfect for families and surfing enthusiasts. It is bordered by a large park with BBQ and playground facilities. You can also access Bennett's Head lookout from here and enjoy the stunning views.. The area is surrounded by plenty of stunning beaches which offer amazing swimming and snorkeling opportunities. Andrew greeted us upon arrival and was very accomodating for where we wanted to camp. The property had several spaces to camp And lots of shade under trees. The area was very quiet and we saw some awesome wildlife late in the afternoon and early in the morning. The property was very tidy and well kept, and Andrew made himself available to us should we have needed assistance.

Very handy spot in terms of access to beach, shops and other local spots. Quiet and plenty of trees. Sandy ground so ideal to take a mat to put down and like many outdoor spots near water, mozzie repellent. Peaceful and practical :)

Great spot, lovely grassy site close to town but still private. Not many amenities but that wasn't an issue for us. Sibby was very helpful and made sure we got in and settled ok. Would stay again!

Location location location. It's perfect for what we wanted. Extremely close to all the towns amenities and beach driving access. Also to explore the other bays. Andrew was the best host of any place we've stayed. Super friendly and helpful. He keeps the place well maintained. We did have some issues with extreme amounts of relentless March flies in one area. But the next night, we moved and had no issues. Shame because the previous spot was beautiful and quiet.
