Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people). Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here. Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly. Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite. Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.**** We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Our property is located on a 10-acre block on the banks of the Murray River. We are approximately 3km from the town centre but have a private and secluded feel with no close neighbours. A peaceful base camp to retreat back to after exploring the region. Nestled on the river bank, among the gum trees and pines, are beautiful shady, camping spots, welcoming self-contained campers, with plenty of room for you to set up comfortably. A stone's throw from camp you'll find a great place to fish for Murray Cod and crays, a spot from which to launch your canoes or paddle boards, the bank is quite steep and you can access using a ladder which is shown in photos. There is access to many wonderful cycling tracks and rail trails in the area. There is a corner shop within walking distance, and great cafes and restaurants close by. Corowa Chocolate and Whisky Factory Museum, Golf Club, RSL and cinema. With the wineries of Wahgunyah and Rutherglen just over the bridge! There are sunny and shady spots but sun cannot be guaranteed all day so please bring a generator or hire ours if you need extra power.

Located in Goorambat, known for the Goorambat Silo Art and the start of the silo art tour. We own a small farm where you can go for great walks trying to see our platypus and rakali. There is fishing nearby. Hotels are from only 3km up the road if you wish to have a lovely meal out. We have free range peacock, geese, hens and guinea fowl on the property. And possibly sheep, alpacas and a horse. Pets are not allowed, unless on lead and by prior arrangement. (As above) Toilets and Potable water are available. This is a farm, not a professional caravan/rv/camping ground. Sites can be variable depending on weather but we will try our best to make you stay pleasant.

Please read the whole listing, lots to tell you about us. Campsites 1 is large and can accommodate two vans and 2 - 3 tents (or 14 -16 people). Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people). Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here. Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly. Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite. Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.**** We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shaded lawn area, BBQ and pot belly fire. The creek is 3kms from the campsites. Near The Hut is the gate to take a walk up to Sugar Loaf (500m return), where you can see amazing grass trees and place a rock on the cairn. Look for the wallabies that live up there. Stay with us to get away from crowded campsites, to enjoy a quieter holiday, while being close to a great tourist district. The King Valley showcases wineries, gourmet food, eateries, restaurants, pubs, brewery, even a gin distillery. We are surrounded by creeks, rivers and lakes, with many fishing, swimming and kayaking options - all within a 30 minute drive! Take a walk to the top of Sugar Loaf, and see unique grass trees on this rocky hill, while catching sight of Mount Buffalo. 8kms to Moyhu which has a pub, coffee shop, general store - all with great food options. You can get petrol, take away, gas etc.

Billabong Flats Farm is a 100 Acre property enhanced by 1km of King River access in the heart of Wangaratta, North East Victoria. The property is in a fantastic location to the Wangaratta township as it is only 1.5 kms drive into town to get all your supplies if required including, Aldi, Woolworths, Coles, Dan Murphys, Kmart, Camping Stores, Petrol Stations, Cinema, Bowling Alley and the wonderful choice of Hotels, Restaurants and Take away options if required. Mains water is available at the property to top up your Vans or Gerry cans should you need to replenish, so never run out of water 😊 It is surrounded by picturesque green countryside laden with ancient Red Rivergum Trees and billabongs with access to river frontage for fishing and two sites the King River Site and White Cedar sites have a swimming hole for those hot summer days. The Secret Island site does have a swimming spot but not as safe for little ones. The river is ideal for swimming, tubing, floating and fishing. Choose either to relax with a book and a glass of wine and do nothing or go and explore the many attractions of the wonderful North East area including the beautiful King Valley, Beechworth, Bright, Yarrawonga and Rutherglen plus many other gorgeous areas that have Art Trails or Silo Art Trails, all of which are 30-60 minutes drive from the property. Billabong Flats Farm sites are very spacious with each section private from other Campers with a fire pit provided at the King River site plus an abundance of open area for recreation for kids and dogs to run around. The King River Site is an extra large riverside bush campsite that could accommodate a large group of Vans (10 at least). It has a designated fire pit and Campers will need to have own Toilet/Shower amenities and be and leave no trace behind when leaving us. Accessible for most types of vehicles. Dog friendly if well behaved and controlled and won't chase the Cattle. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood for sale (see Extras). We are close to the region’s attractions including 15mins drive to Brown Brothers Winery in Milawa, many Lookouts and National Parks, Lake William Hovell, Restaurants, Wineries and Distilleries of this special area.
