Billabong Flats Farm is a 100 Acre property enhanced by 1km of King River access in the heart of Wangaratta, North East Victoria. It has an abundance of birdlife including Kookaburras, Kingfishers, Blue Wrens, Cormorants and many types of water birds. The property is in a fantastic location to the Wangaratta township as it is only 1.5 kms drive into town to get all your supplies if required including, Aldi, Woolworths, Coles, Dan Murphys, Kmart, Camping Stores, Petrol Stations, Cinema, Bowling Alley and the wonderful choice of Hotels, Restaurants and Take away options if required. It is surrounded by picturesque green countryside laden with ancient Red Rivergum Trees and billabongs with access to river frontage for fishing and one area has a swimming hole for those hot summer days. The river is ideal for swimming, tubing, floating and fishing. Choose either to relax with a book and a glass of wine and do nothing or go and explore the many attractions of the wonderful North East area including the beautiful King Valley, Beechworth, Bright, Yarrawonga and Rutherglen plus many other gorgeous areas that have Art Trails or Silo Art Trails, all of which are 30-60 minutes drive from the property. Billabong Flats Farm sites are very spacious with each section private from other Campers with a fire pit provided plus an abundance of open area for recreation for kids and dogs to run around. The Swimming Hole Bush Camp is an extra large riverside bush campsite that could accommodate a large group of Vans (10 at least). It has a designated fire pit and Campers will need to have own Toilet/Shower amenities and be and leave no trace behind when leaving us. Accessible for most types of vehicles. Dog friendly if well behaved and controlled and won't chase the Cattle. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood for sale (see Extras). We are close to the region’s attractions including 15mins drive to Brown Brothers Winery in Milawa, many Lookouts and National Parks, Lake William Hovell, Restaurants, Wineries and Distilleries of this special area.

Homestead o/nite site Farm Views
Kerryn was a fantastic host. We booked really late and Kerryn was so welcoming and made sure we settled in. Beautiful spot!

Secret Island River View Site
Never disappoints
The perfect spot on a crappy weekend, sheltered and cosy with oodles of wood to keep the fire roaring. I said this last time and I'll say it again...... we will be back!

Riverside Campsite
A very happy find
Kerryn's land was one of those happy finds on the Sydney-Melbourne route. Each site is private, has a fabulous fire drum and ours backed onto the river.

White Cedar River View Site
The views were beautiful! An amazing spot for our little family to camp for the weekend. Couldn’t recommend more. Thank you Kerryn for your amazing hospitality!

Lovely camp with a good river view. Fire wood was also great being red gum. Heaps of camp options to choose on their farm. Will be back to stay if we are in the area again 😀

King River Swimming Site
Beautiful riverside camping
Kerryn and John's property is fantastic. Each of the spots are well isolated from each other and you feel like you are truly bush camping (despite shops only being 5 minutes drive away. As we were there in the middle of winter with negative overnight temps, the fireplace was fantastic to sit around before hiding in bed from the cold. This will definitely be on our list for a return trip in the future. Thanks for a great stay.
