Come and camp on the banks of a creek, where the bushranger Ben Hall used to camp with his horses in the mid 1800s! The property is located smack bang in the middle of Young, Forbes, West Wylong and Cowra - taking about an hour to drive to each. The is plenty to do and see in the area, including exploring the nearby Weddin Mountains National Park and Bimbi State Forest. Just 20 minute North is the quaint town of Grenfell. Tucked into the beautiful Lachlan Valley, Grenfell is a fascinating gold rush town with great galleries, historic buildings and superb country pubs. There are also many events celebrating the town’s rich history and culture. Campers will enjoy flat, grassy sites on this 15 acre block. The creek is suitable for swimming, fishing, yabbying and paddling, and is quite wide in spots. This campsite suits self contained campers, who bring their own facilities and leave no trace. The access is via a dirt road (easy drive). You're welcome to bring your dog.

Parkes Elvis Festival only 2kms to town held in Jan each year, come join us for the fun. Airconditioned common area/camp kitchen, hot and cold water, washing machine. Now we have introduced a self contained hut with private ablutions and aircon, telly, fridge, kitchenette etc and a great view. We also now have a little 2 person cabin with own ablutions, tv, aircon, kitchenette

Very beautiful spot by the creek, quiet and well maintained not to far from town. Main road not far away for easy access but still felt private. Daughter loved the tree swing, fairy houses and bird houses around the area

What a lovely place to stay after a day driving through storms. A Christmas tree and all. We loved the location and waking up to the sound of kookaburras was pretty cool.The hosts were so helpful when we asked questions. Don't forget to take some.cahs with you to buy some home made gifts, We left with soaps and honey amongst other things. I'd definitely go back. Thankyou

We requested a last minute booking to stay due to being rained out at our previous campsite. Darrin was prompt and friendly. The communal areas were outstanding and very warm. We loved spending time with the friendly dogs. The check in instructions were clear and the site was very quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay.

Great country views. Plenty of sheep and kangaroos around to watch. A lot of bird life and the occasional Goanna climbing a tree Would definitely recommend and we will be back !

Amazing. Glamping not camping. Very comfortable shared space that we were very lucky to have to ourselves. Lovely to have warm aircon on an unexpectedly freezing cold night. Boys loved the pool table and tennis table. Adults loved the warm shower and en suite. Lovely leather couches. Make sure you get a coffee and bite to eat at the Roasted Kombi in town as well.

Our family loved camping at Andrew and Lana's property. We had a great time, we had the whole place to ourselves. There is a lot of space if other people were to come you could easily spread out. Fun little creek to explore, simple swing set up for the kids which they loved. Good access to the town of Parkes and the radio telescope. Great fire pit area and lots of wood around. Would definitely recommend. Was great to meet Andrew, he popped by to introduce himself and check if we needed anything.
