Come and camp on the banks of a creek, where the bushranger Ben Hall used to camp with his horses in the mid 1800s! The property is located smack bang in the middle of Young, Forbes, West Wylong and Cowra - taking about an hour to drive to each. The is plenty to do and see in the area, including exploring the nearby Weddin Mountains National Park and Bimbi State Forest. Just 20 minute North is the quaint town of Grenfell. Tucked into the beautiful Lachlan Valley, Grenfell is a fascinating gold rush town with great galleries, historic buildings and superb country pubs. There are also many events celebrating the town’s rich history and culture. Campers will enjoy flat, grassy sites on this 20 acre block. The creek is suitable for swimming, fishing, gabbling and paddling, and is quite wide in spots. This campsite suits self contained campers, who bring their own facilities and leave no trace. The access is via a dirt road (easy drive). You're welcome to bring your dog.Come and camp on the banks of a creek, where the bushranger Ben Hall used to camp with his horses in the mid 1800s! Ben Hall Creek Camp
We had a peaceful and relaxing overnight stay here. Vince came over to say hi. It was great that our dog could wander around and enjoy a swim in the waterhole unrestrained. There was a lot of bird life activity. The sheep came into the paddock in the late afternoon and morning which was nice to see.

Ben Hall Creek Camp
Had a lovely 1 night camp on a road trip, set up in the dark by the river but woke up to a beautiful view of the creek and giant gum trees. Dogs had a lovely time running around and having a splash. Great instructions from the owner on how to get in and we had the whole place to ourselves which was great but there is plenty of room to share too. Would stay again. Fire wood was already in a pile next to the pit which was great with our late arrival. Thanks heaps for the stay.

Second time as good as the first
This is our second visit and it was just as good as the first. We had a camp fire with the wood provided all three nights. It's a nice quiet area with loads of room. We'll come and stay again for sure.
