Find caravan camping at beaches, lagoons, and hinterland forests just an hour north of Sydney.
Whether you're road-tripping along the Legendary Pacific Highway, hiking through UNESCO-listed rainforests, or enjoying a weekend getaway from Sydney—there are plenty of good reasons to drive your caravan along NSW's Central Coast. Make your base in the seaside towns of Avoca Beach, Terrigal, or The Entrance, and take your pick of more than 40 beaches, where you can learn to surf, take a whale-watching cruise (from May through November), or paddle around the coastal lagoons. Campers have plenty of options, whether you want to camp by secluded beaches at Bouddi National Park, hike along rugged headlands at Wyrrabalong National Park, or escape to the hinterlands to camp at a rural Hipcamp or at Dharug National Park. Most national park campgrounds provide unpowered sites with basic facilities such as toilets and picnic tables, but you'll find powered sites with full amenities at the beachside holiday parks and caravan parks.
