Other things to note We aim to be as sustainable as possible while not skimping on luxury. We aim to make your stay as memorable as possible and provide lots of personal touches, but please do not take anything from the tiny house. We have solar panels, water tanks and filter the water to the tiny house. Luckily for us we live in a wet part of the world so no need to worry about how much water you use, though please only use toiletries provided, or ensure the ones you bring are eco friendly. The toilet is a composting toilet but it is used as any flushing toilet, without the flush! The place is extremely quiet, though sometimes dirt bikes can be heard travelling through the fire trails. Beautiful bird calls and the spotting of wildlife are assured.

The Old Dairy @ Baerami

Our property is approximately 150 acres, located in the Upper Hunter Valley between the Goulburn River National Park and the Wollemi National Park. In the shadow of Mt Dangar, our land sweeps down to the pristine Goulburn River, one of the main tributaries of the Hunter River. The property was once part of a huge agricultural station, that was established not long after explorers started to open up the interior to development in colonial times. We raise cattle and have an olive grove, which we planted in 2001 (our olive brand is Windybank Olives). In 2003 we established The Old Dairy accommodation, by renovating the crumbling 1940's dairy shed at the top of the property. There are stunning views of the surrounding countryside in all directions from The Old Dairy. It is a place to unwind, relax, reset. Guests have loved the peace & quiet we offer, the chance to get away from everything for a short while. Our road is just off Bylong Valley Way - a visually stunning route through the national parks towards Mudgee, Rylstone, Capertee Valley, Lithgow and the Greater Blue Mountains, tracking along the headwaters of the Goulburn River. One of the most beautiful drives in New South Wales and within close proximity of terrific campsites like Ganguddy (Dunn's Swamp via Rylstone) and Big River (Gouburn River National Park). Plenty of birds & wildlife (kangaroos make a very regular appearance - as do healthy green tree frogs!). A beautiful part of the world.

We live on the property with our 2 kiddos and love living off grid. We love how close it brings us to natural cycles and reminds us to live lightly. Come experiences the quiet serenity of the beautiful Far South Coast Bush. There are kangaroos and brushtail possum wander around the land and Glossy Back Cockatoos that gather at the dam near sunset every day. We are so lucky to live in a place where wildlife abounds. Located in the beautiful Capertee Valley, approximately 3 hours north west of Sydney, we would love to welcome you to Dalli's Campground. Flat, shady camping areas, plenty of wildlife, particularly birds, suitable for bush walkers and nature lovers. Get some friends together, bring your dog (we are pet friendly), throw your tents and bedding in the car and come visit! Accessible for all types of vehicles, including caravans, motor homes, camper vans (except FWD).Toilet (flushing) and hot shower facilities available. Full use of BBQ and pizza oven. Gas supplied. Camp kitchen area has servery with sink and hot water. Cutlery, crockery and saucepans provided. Campfires permitted in designated areas (subject to fire bans). Firewood can be brought onto site or purchased from the campground . Access to the orchard welcome (seasonal).Our campground is a great base to explore the Capertee Valley, including Garden of Stones, Turon and Capertee National Parks. Discover the famous Captertee Valley Bird Watching Trail. Only an hour away from historic Rylestone, Mudgee or Dunns' Swamp, and 20 mins to the old shale mines at Glen Davis.

We have loved the farm so much we decided others should get to experience it too and let them get out and take in the peace and serenity of being in nature. We offer 6 spacious campsites as well as a self sufficient cabin overlooking stunning sunset views to the west of our property. We also have communal flushable toilets for our campers. Escape the busy city life and come light a campfire and watch the sunrise and sunset and enjoy the amazing views and wildlife and keep an eye out for koalas in the trees. Bathurst is known for motorsports thanks to Mount Panorama, one of the world’s most famous circuits. It hosts a number of international racing events, including the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Bathurst 1000. When it's not being used for a race, the public can take a spin around the course. Visit the National Motor Racing Museum, right next to the track. The Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum boasts a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery is home to a wonderful collection of Australian paintings and contemporary artworks. Spend the day in Bathurst by seeing many of the amazing sites including the famous Ben Chiffley Dam and spend the day on the water and even a short drive to Rockley to visit the famous pub now owned by Matt Moran.
