Enjoy the beautiful night sky as you chill out around the campfire. There are two double beds. Please bring your own bed linen and towels. There is no fridge - you will need to bring your own esky.The shack sits on an amazing mountain 600m above sea-level in the hinterland west of Port Macquarie, is accessible by 4WD only. You must have a proper 4WD and have knowledge of how to navigate steep, isolated tracks. It has basic amenities and is best suited for those with their own swag and camping supplies. Roll out the swag and keep warm from the elements. Drinking water available. You will need to bring all other supplies including your own toilet and shower. Dogs welcome.We are located near Comboyne National Park. This place is perfect for hiking enthusiasts and avid photographers - the views are absolutely stunning.The hinterland west of the Central Coast offer an abundance of beautiful scenery, rolling green hills and plenty of wildlife. With Summer fast approaching not to mention the Christmas holidays the Bulga Plateau is the place to unwind, swim in mountain rivers and enjoy the Old Growth forests (yes we still have a few left). The Flame Trees and Jacaranda are flowering beautifully! 600 metres above sea level on clear nights it feels like you are close enough to touch the Milky Way! In the hinterland of the Mid North Coast NSW on Biripi Country. Balgarr means mountain in local Gattang language. The cabin is off grid, includes a small kitchenette with 2 burner gas stove, fridge, has double bed and 2 single beds. We have a BBQ and fire pit. This is rustic living, no flash flush here but a practical long drop eco-friendly compost toilet and a fantastic gas hot water shower out in the elements! You will need to bring your own bedding, pillows sheets etc. we are on tank water and at times it is low! Dogs are welcome but please bring their own bedding. As we are 45 minutes from the closest town, so you will need to fuel up before you head up the mountain. Also bring drinking water and all the food you will require for your stay. The property is also home to local wildlife and filled with lots of old trees, plants and flowers to enjoy your morning cuppa on the balcony. Loads of walking tracks nearby; the Legendary Ellenborough Falls is 5 mins by car or half hour walk through the Elands Village Hour and half from Port Macquarie and Forster and one hour from Taree in the hinterland from Wingham or Comboyne (coming from Port Macquarie). There is an endless network of gravel roads and fire trails waiting to be explored by vehicle or mountain bike, taking you through the national parks, state forests and undulating farmlands of the Bulga Plateau. This delightful self contained cabin is a perfect getaway for you to work on your project – be it visual art; a book; a film script; photography or simply forest breathing to clear the mind.
