RV camping in North Dakota

From the vast prairies of the Great Plains to the rugged Badlands that border Montana, North Dakota has plenty of open roads to hit on your RV trip. Park your rig at a rustic campground amid the dramatic canyons of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, hike through the Badlands and camp by Lake Sakakawea at Lewis and Clark State Park, or enjoy seasonal camping with electric hookups at Little Missouri State Park. To the east, RV parks dot the shores of Devils Lake, where you can enjoy some of the state’s best fishing, as well as the lakeside Grahams Island State Park. Winter temperatures can drop below freezing throughout the state, but many RV campsites stay open through the snowy season, including Lake Metigoshe State Park, Turtle River State Park, and Fort Stevenson State Park, where you can make the most of the cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails.
