Hilton Head RV camping options up the ante on amenities.
Hilton Head Island has a couple of RV resorts, with several more nearby, and the amenities offer luxury in spades. Full hookups, wifi, cable TV access, and well-kept grounds are standard, while a few larger RV parks also feature pools, restaurants, dog parks, golf, tennis, and even boat rentals. Although these family-friendly RV campgrounds might have everything you could need and then some, RV campers can also go against the grain for a quiet, secluded experience at a private RV spot on private land. These campsites are typically a bit further off-island but still sit within easy distance of the coast and usually offer picnic tables, fire pits, and toilets for a relaxing outdoor experience. Regardless of where you park your campervan or RV, Hilton Head campers will find plenty to do—hit one of nearly two dozen championship golf courses, book a kayak nature tour or dolphin boat cruise, or take a ride on the 100+ miles of biking trails on the island. Sea Pines Forest Preserve and Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge offer wildlife habitats and history, and, of course, it wouldn't be a coastal getaway without some beach time.
