Reyes Creek Campground
Description
Reyes Creek Campground might just be the campground of your dreams. Sites along the creek, ample hiking, the perfect hammock spots, dipping holes, and a trout-stocked stream make this place a real monster of a spot. The campground also features nice views of Pine Mountain and is right down the street from a bar and grill (woo-hee!).

Nothing NOT to like! Creekside camp sites are idyllic - we stayed in Site 21 and it was HUGE! Most sites really big, but some smaller closer to hillside. We were in heaven; didn't want to leave. Reyes Creek has perhaps the BEST.CAMP.HOST.EVER!!!! Jade was a delight: friendly, super accommodating, incredibly informative, exceedingly responsive and responsible, and just all around wonderful! We would return just to see her alone! You can tell she REALLY loves her job and most importantly, respects the land! We stayed in April 2019 and it went from cool to HOT in just a few days, so seeing as we aren't heat lovers we will return in spring and fall each year. Some loud people, but Jade was ON IT and ensures everyone is content. A real gem!!!!!
This is my all-time favorite place to camp! It's also a doggie paradise; be prepared for local dogs to occasionally wander up and say hi! The campsite is as remote as you can get for car camping. It's like 20 miles away from anything, except for the bar & grille (and cluster of cabins) about 1/4 mile from the camp's entrance. You can get ice there, as well as great food and drink. I camped there over Halloween, and while there was a bash going on at the bar, we couldn't hear anything at all at our campsite, other than the creek. Site 17 is my favorite; it's far back, yet close to a toilet, and close to the creek.
Really dusty
Stayed here 6/17/2016 - 6/19/2016 at Site 17.
30 Sites, most were shaded, they fill up quickly so try to get there early as possible. Some sites were uneven, making it hard to setup the tents. There are a fair amount of bugs so be prepared! There are some hiking trails, all dog friendly. The bathroom was hit or miss, some smelled bad some were fine.
There was a site that played loud music early in the morning (7AM) but most sites were very considerate and nice.
