Cabins in Oregon Coast guide

Overview

Spanning for nearly 400 miles, from the border with California all the way up to the mouth of the Columbia River in Astoria, the Oregon Coast offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the state. The weather here is generally cool and rainy, and though summers tend to be a bit warmer and drier than other times of the year, you may still need a wetsuit if you want to spend much time in the water when staying at a cabin rental or vacation home. Popular coastal destinations include Cannon Beach and Manzanita in the north, Lincoln City, Newport, and Florence in the central region, and Coos Bay and Brookings to the south. Many of Oregon's state parks are on or near the coast, and quite a few—including Umpqua Lighthouse State Park and Cape Blanco State Park—offer cabin rentals. Privately owned log cabins and cottages range from rustic to luxurious across the region, often coming with free wifi, cozy wood stoves, hot tubs, and linens.
