West Tensleep Lake Campground
Description
Wow West Tensleep, did they give the campground this name because there’s so much to do, that you’d better bring at least nine more friends? The campground is situated on the southern shore of the West Tensleep Lake, which is wonderfully scenic, but also at 125 acres– an astounding source for canoeing adventure and fishing fun. Or opt to stay on land and hike one of the many trails– West Tensleep Lake Campground is in an area full of alpine lakes and creeks, and forests cover the area. Hop onto the popular West Tensleep Lake Trail that begins just outside of the campground, and accept the invitation to explore Lake Helen, Lake Marion, and Misty Moon Lake before traversing the summit of the 13,167 foot Cloud Peak – the highest peak in the Bighorn Range. When you succeed, we expect a photo!
