Dead Swede Campground
Description
Okay, okay - the name may seem a tad ominous. But we like to think that Dead Swede Campground references the died-and-gone-to-heaven feeling you’ll get when you score a tent site here with a breathtaking view of the South Tongue River. Take that sentiment and triple it if you’re a fisherman; nearby Sibley Lake is teeming with three kinds of trout. It’s not the most private of campgrounds, but everyone’s eyes will be on the river anyway - and hey, there will be plenty of people nearby to listen to your story about catching a fish thiiiiiis big.
