Esswine Group Campground

The Esswine Group Campground is conveniently located near the road that parallels the Mountain Loop Highway, but this can create a moderate amount of noise. For a little peace and quiet, head down to the South Fork Stillaguamish River, a short walk away. The campground is open from May to September and sits on Long Creek. There are both trailer and tent sites, and up to 75 people can camp here. Take some of the nearby trails, and on a clear day you’ll be able to see the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Baker.
