It has been a dream of ours to own our own land and be share it with people who enjoy the outdoors as much as we do. We love the outdoors, but we also appreciate design and comfort which is reflected in our the Cedar Shack tiny house currently on the property and The Klickitat Treehouse which will be available for rent in Spring 2020. Since purchasing the land we have spent countless weekends here with our best friends and created unforgettable memories. We want other people to be able to have those experiences too. Stay tuned for progress on the property and construction on other unique lodging!

Wonderfully quaint and beautiful

Cedar Shack by Klickitat Treehouse

Our stay at the cedar shack was fantastic. The cutest cabin was a perfect get away. So Cozy and well designed. The kitchen is nicely equipped to make a great meal. The table is good for hanging and games. The fire warmed place up in minutes. And the bed very comfortable. We’d recommend it to anyone looking to for a relaxing escape to peace and calm in the forest.

Spectacular Place

Cedar Shack by Klickitat Treehouse

My girlfriend and I needed a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Portland and decided to stay at the Cedar Shack. What a great decision! It was exactly as amazing as all the reviews described, we felt very safe, Colin and Taryn gave us AWESOME recommendations (falls creek falls is a great hike and if you have the chance grab brunch at white salmon baking co), and we had an overall spectacular trip. The shack is beautiful and has all of the welcoming touches. The twinkle lights are very sweet, and the outdoor area and fireplace are beautiful even though we couldn’t use the fireplace due to a fire ban. Thank you Colin and Taryn! -Noah and Megan

Cedar Shack by Klickitat Treehouse

Two special nights spent in a super-fun-cozy-little home. Everything was clean, with lots of wood for the woodstove and all you would need for two people in terms of cookware and all the things. There’s great little hiking trails and awesome views of Mt. Adams right out the front door on a clear day. Would definitely come back!

What a lovely way to spend labor day weekend! Couldn’t have asked for a sweeter setup. And the loft bed was particularly comfy which was a welcomed surprise! We can’t wait to come back again, especially when the tree house is up and running. Definitely recommend Taryn & Colin’s lovely little cedar shack in the woods for anyone looking to escape the city and relax in nature for a few days :)
