Burton Island Campground
Description
There’s only one way to get to Burton Island State Park—boat, baby. Burton Island is freedom from trains, planes and automobiles which will give you a remote experience without all of the dramatic deserted island rescue thing. Though there are no cars allowed, a marina was built to accommodate boats with full hook-ups. If you don’t have a boat, no worries, a ferry will carry you onshore. Campsite choices include regular tent camping, lean-tos and boat moorings. Be sure to check out the three miles of gorgeous shoreline hiking trails!
