Ocotillo Acres
in Ocotillo Acres, TexasRemember when your dream of camping was quiet solitude filled with nature, peace and beautiful sunsets. Remember when the sounds that invaded your quiet solitude were imagined to only be coyotes greeting the morning, the breeze across the desert, and the sound of your own heartbeat. This place exceeds those dreams and the reality makes your imagination pale in comparison.
If you want another tent every 20 feet, screaming children, idling rvâs, electrical outlets, and shared bathrooms; this isnât for you. If you want the galaxy on view without light pollution, zero crowds, no tourists, privacy, no litter, and peace ; then look no further.
Itâs beautiful. Itâs primitive. 4wd is recommended. Follow the route that Phil provides. Bring water and bring shade. We will return here again, itâs perfect for what camping means to us and itâs perfect for day trips to the National and state parks.
