4 dispersed campsites are located on a large gravel bar facing a beautiful private waterfall. Camping is walk-in from the parking lot. No overlanding rigs, RV or car camping allowed at campsites. Camping spot includes: unlimited river access, use of kayaks and paddle boards, a semi-private outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a rinse off shower and a clean outdoor port-a-potty that is regularly sanitized. No personal/composting toilets allowed. Please only use the restroom in the portalet provided. Small campfires are allowed (burn ban permitting). Campers are responsible for bringing their own firewood. *Climbing on the dam structure is strictly prohibited. *The cotton gin (big metal building) is private, for reserved parties only. **No tent air conditioners or electric heaters allowed** (small fans/ electric blankets are permitted) *Please arrive BEFORE dark to check-in. No check-ins after dark. *Children 5 and under are free! (please add children in this age group to your booking in our "Extras"). *Day passes are available for $25 per person/per day. For reserved parties only. *Dispose of ALL trash in dumpster located next to parking lot. *Please arrive BEFORE dark to check-in. The Best Dam Spot

Truly the best dam spot.

This truly was the best dam spot :) Me 42M and my son 9M had an excellent time this weekend and spent two nights enjoying the sights and sounds of the running water, rapids and dam. The kayaks were easily accessed (although you had to doge a hornet or two lurking around!) and had Kayak types for kids or adults. The fishing was great we caught 3 spotted bass in the river downstream from the Dam right from the rocky shore of our campsite! I can't rate the location and the host highly enough, she was gracious and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. This place and its owerns were gems. We will be back again!

Great location for kids

Great spot! Calmer deep water and faster moving shallow water. The kids loved both! There was also a giant swing that goes over the water. Upstream of the dam they had kayaks and paddleboards to use. Laura was awesome! She made sure we were set up in the best spots for shade and she also brought us a fan to keep us comfy in the tent. She's great! Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely go back

The Best Dam Spot

Wish we stayed longer!

Laura was very helpful communicating before our trip and answering our questions which gave us peace of mind. She gave us a tour herself and made us feel at home. Will be returning!!
