They don't tell you it's only 50amp
I booked two nights on a weekend after a couple of stressful weeks. I arrived after dark. I was super disappointed when I realized that the hook-ups were all 50amp. I inquired about it, and the response was "you'll need a 30amp plug." I replied that my rv was 30amp and all should be good. It was NOT. I messaged the host immediately to voice my disappointment, and once again, she replied with you'll need a 30 amp plug. That makes no sense. No offer to make things right etc. I wasn't completely prepared for primitive camping, but stayed the night and left early the next morning. It would be nice to get comped for the night I paid for, but didn't stay. Probably won't. Super disappointed, definitely won't book again.

Trailering Plain, Simple and Friend
Plenty of sites, not paved but all have full hookups. Clean air, no traffic or jet noise. Quiet and contemplative. You will hear coyotes yipping or wailing occasionally and around dark a few cattle lowing. No fancy facilities or distractions. Good people operating it, especially Allie, the Hostess.

Secluded site with wildlife
This campsite is a nice little gem. We saw so many animal tracks and wildlife, and felt really far from civilization. It was easy to go on long walks around the gun range while staying on the dirt to not worry about snakes. We were unable to drive back to our campsite the second night after going into a nearby town because it rained and the ground was too muddy for even a four wheeler to access the site, but Allie was kind enough to let us stay at their ranch cookhouse. The hosts have plans to further fix up the site and create marked trails, which would be super. We look forward to coming back one day!
