Gatlin Point Campground
Description
Gatlin Point Campground sits on the banks of Cumberland River, near Lake Barkley. There is a ton to explore in the park, including a 700-acre elk and bison prairie, a planetarium, and a nature center. There are hundreds of miles of trails along the lakes and through the forest for hikers and bikers. And, if you see someone dressed like a Civil War-era farmer, you’re not hallucinating! You probably just stumbled across the Homeplace 1850’s Working Farm. Bring caffeine or plan for a midday nap, ‘cause the activities here can tire out even the most energetic among us!
