Loved camping here! As close to a tidal creek as you can get without being in it. Very secluded area , very quiet and peaceful but close enough to Charleston and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend. We stayed here in a 36 foot fifth wheel.

Great retreat from civilization. Christa was kind, responsive and respectful of our privacy on her land. The tidal creek is just amazing to see. So many birds and different types. Saw our first Wood Storks and tri-colored herons. An armadillo wandered through. We saw a white squirrel; didn’t know they existed. The pool was great. We walked to the county park. Having electricity and water was awesome. I imagined the house to be further away but was not an issue. Tator the pup is cute and is happy to play fetch. I would recommend Christa’s place.

A Serene Sanctuary
Christa was very accommodating and communicative during the whole stay process. She gave us some recommendations for u-pick farms and to get some shrimp and they did not disappoint! Her property is amazing and we were able to take a boat out on the river one morning. The view from the property was incredible and was extremely quaint and serene. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking to go to the Charleston area and would definitely book again.

Beautiful site! We had a great time. Christa was easy to communicate with. It was hot in SC in July, but the electric hook up allowed us to use our AC at night and cool off. The pool was also a lifesaver.

Unannounced visitors using campsite
3hrs after we arrived a group of men came on the property unannounced and took over the pool, pond and dock. They were loud, rough housing/wrestling at the pool. I begged them to stop bc one of our dogs is reactive to strangers. They stayed while drinking heavily for over 5 hours. When I called the owner, instead of apologizing and asking them to leave since we had paid to have the space, she doubled down and said we were only guaranteed the campsite as only our space and anyone else could come and use the other areas. I suggested that be added to the description since I assumed a one spot camp site meant we would be the only people using the amenities. Definitely not what we expected. We had planned to crab, swim and fish. But the unannounced visitors were there during high tide so we missed out and we were the ones who paid for those experiences.
