Sarabah Stud is a beautiful cattle and farming property with access to Canungra Creek. There's resident platypus in the creek and great spots for swimming. Located approximately 40 minutes from the Gold Coast and 1 hour to Brisbane CBD. There are several beautiful swimming holes just below where we encourage guests to swim. Children 5-16 are $10 per night (please include with booking), and kids 4 and under are free (no need to include in booking, just let us know they are coming). Toilet available. Please note we do not provide toilet paper. Remove all rubbish. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Access is 2wd but we recommend 4wd when raining or wet conditions or contact us for track condition . Pets are not permitted.

Stoney Camp Sarabah Stud
Stoney camp
We recently stayed at this campsite and had a mixed experience. While there were certainly some positives, a few key aspects fell short of what was advertised. Cons: • The listing mentioned that firewood would be provided, but when we arrived, there was none. Which was disappointing. • The photos posted on the listing showed a well-maintained area, but when we arrived, it didn’t look quite the same. The upkeep of the space was lacking, and it was a bit of a letdown. • There were cows wandering around the area, and unfortunately, they were leaving droppings all over the walkways to the toilet amenities and creek and around camp site. It made navigating the space a bit unpleasant. • Communication regarding the firewood situation and the signage on the property was minimal and confusing. It was hard to figure out what was expected. • Given the discrepancies between the ad and reality, the price felt a bit steep for what we actually experienced. Pros: • The atmosphere of the running creek nearby was beautiful, adding a peaceful sound to the surroundings. • The area was green, lush, and secluded, which made it feel like a retreat into nature. • Overall, the setting was very peaceful, and if you’re looking for a quiet spot to relax, the campsite does offer that. While the setting had potential, there were a few things that could have been improved to match the expectations set by the listing. This review highlights both the positive and negative aspects, while giving feedback.
