Backpackers Paradise El Yunque
We had a great couple of nights camping on Dons property. The view was beautiful, the sounds of the rain forest at night were very peaceful. . Don was very welcoming and showed us around the Land. We even got to enjoy some of the veggies and plants around. Quick drive to El Yunque park. We would definitely return! Peace & Love.

Don’s property is one of a kind! We loved the opportunity to stay so close to the beach and El Yunque. He was great at communicating as finding the location is a bit tricky. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay off the beaten path and meet some cool locals.

Backpackers Paradise El Yunque
Amazing place, location and views!
This place is amazing! The hosts responded quickly to our request and met us in town later to lead us to the their house, as cell and gps service is spotty. Definitly plan to chat with Don when booking, it would be difficult to "just show up". They are working on many ambitious projects around the large property, we were able to explore and pitch our tent in a perfect place. There are also some small quarters being constructed with bed and bedding (at a different price than camping in your own tent) Views to El Yunque and the sea! We had access to the bathroom in an outbuilding and drinking water, as well as parking inside the gate. This place is as close as you can get to El Yunque National Forest, and the land feels special. Recommended for adventurers!

Backpackers Paradise El Yunque
Don's property had beautiful views of El Yunque! We had a great time touring his property and trying all the vegetables. He also has an awesome bunker with bunk beds you can stay in if you're not the camping type, there is also a full kitchen and a nice place to hang out inside in the shade.
