Description
All points are covered at Seven Points Campground, and we’re not just saying that because it sounds good. Within a short walk, adventurers will find everything from interpretive trails to fishing (full-service marina!), boating and swimming in Raystown Lake to a visitor’s center. Venture out a bit further and you’ll be greeted by a myriad of landscapes; Raystown Lake is in the ridge and valley lands of PA, and the lakeshore itself is lined with an old-hickory forest giving way to mountain ridges and cliffs. Venture out even further (we’re talkin’ day trip) and you can explore the Lincoln and Indian Caverns, Altoona Railroaders Museum, or the Swigart Antique Car Museum. That’s America the beautiful right there!

Not much fun for tent camping. The RV folks are loud late at night and so are their RVs. They leave their dogs out all night to bark, unabated. It's a great location for access to the trails and the lake but we're pretty much done with the place.

This is primarily RV camping, and getting a spot is really difficult. People are only supposed to stay for 2 weeks, but many just re-register and live there for the summer.
